Japanese Tsugaru / Wakasa lacquer box and six coasters, early 20th century lacquer work with a speckled and metallic surface, an old Honshu speciality. The pattern is rhombic, the lid of the box gold or bronze coloured, the coasters a reddish brown. The back of the coasters is black and slightly structured. Diameter of coasters "3 ¼ / 9.5 cm and of box "5 / 12.5 cm. Condition: small loss of lacquer to the rim of the lid, otherwise fine.

A long woman’s summer obi made of thin silk, woven in jacquard and openwork techniques with chrysanthemums or asters interlaced with fences of plaited bamboo leaves. On this, in Yuzen dye technique, imitating an ink drawing, several areas painted with cart wheels floating in waves.
The obi has been opened; a practice quite common in order to have the material cleaned. There is a paper (dry) cleaner’s tag on the obi.

This handsome display measures 9"L x 4.25"W x 2"H and sports 23 of the original 24 tablet boxes. Each 3 inch box contains a perfectly-labeled, cork-topped bottle with the original insert.

These fantastic, rare Morgantown wine stems feature delicate, whisper-thin blown Pineapple optic crystal clear bowls. Attached are deep amber, almost a root beer color pulled stems with clear blown feet. Each is a bit of art from the 1920s-1930s. The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 80 oz 'Ockner' pitcher in green with an applied handle. This is a really pretty crystal clear Rose Point Cheese and Cracker 2 Piece Set made by Cambridge Glass. This cheese comport measures 6 inches, the handled cracker plate measures 11 1/2 inches without the handles. Both the cheese comport and cracker plate are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are just a couple slight scuff marks on the center of the plate. This Mangus Aase "Rose" cream or bouillon ladle is 6.5" long The bowl is 2 7/8" long by 1 1/2" wide. It is hallmarked K.W.830s Mangus Aase symbol NM. The NM is the generic mark which roughly translates as design copyright. The mark was used from 1876-1953.

Notice the hook on the reverse and that this ladle has a gold wash bowl. It is also hallmarked 18-7-1931.

This is a wonderful hand painted cottageware /cottage ware biscuit jar, biscuit barrel or cookie jar made by Price Brothers, Kensington, Staffordshire England. This item is from the 1940s and is marked Ye Olde Cottage. The shape is a thatched cottage with it's original rattan handle. It is 7" tall without the handle x 5" deep x 6" wide. These is a flake on the inside rim.

This McCoy fruit wall pocket is 7 3/4" x 6 3/4". This is circa early 1950s. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs to this item. It has the usual McCoy crazing and the obvious paint loss which I believe adds character and looks very real as if it were in a tree.

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in England by Mintons before 1920. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 3 1/8 inches high without the handle. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The cup has an Empire style handle that rises above the rim of the cup. Pre Columbian style spout pot depicting an animal . This pot is mold formed and hand incised. Its in undamaged un chipped condition with alot of mineral deposits in all the incised lines pictures don't show that well. size l 6" w 4 1/4 " h 4 "

These four Minton Gold Ancestral dessert plates (#S 595) are quite handsome indeed. Each are marked on the back and also each has the Minton imprint. The brown-red transfer decoration of flowers and leaves is painted with turquoise and pink enamel to accent the flowers. Each plate is trimmed in gold and is in excellent condition. Here is a whimsical piece of folk art, possibly depicting an Australian Cassowary. A plastic coconut shell serves as the body, the feathered tail and headdress are accented by a furry brown material while the spindly neck and legs made from sticks. Unsigned.

A 7 inch tall signed Steuben goblet with colorless cup and foot joined by a Pomona Green twist stem. The goblet is shape 3551 and is decorated in the Van Dyke pattern. The goblet is signed on the polished pontil with the block letter Steuben mark.

Pilgrim made this 11.25" Vase from a Phoenix/Consolidated mold. Unmarked reproduction by Pilgrim (most are signed), made in the early 1960's. Has the dogwood pattern. Excellent condition.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 6 1/2 inch hat shaped vase in emerald green. A nice Art Deco cocktail pick set formed as a dark red bakelite cherry atop a rosewood base holding six bright red bakelite cherry-finial picks. The cocktail pick holder (“porte-piques”) was once a fixture of every French bar or café, as well as private bars in the home. Today, they can be used for their original purpose or to serve small hors d’oeuvres.

A Hazara puttee estimated to date from the mid to late 20th century, in perfect condition. Measures 10x65 cm (with the tassel, 124 cm in length). Condition is excellent. On one side is a printed fabric, probably from Russia. The extremely fine brick stitch in interlocking diamond patterns is a hallmark of Hazara embroidery. Probably from Jaghori (Ghazni) or Bamiyan province.

This is an old tobacco pouch from Indus Kohistan, a remote area of northern Pakistan located along the Indus river. Cotton embroidered with silk thread, depicting interlocking rhomboids on one face, repeating chevrons on the other, and embellished with beadwork on the edges. The embroidery technique is exceptionally fine brick stitch, closely paralleled in Hazara embroidery. This purse is worked in a variation of ladder stitch to form repeating whorl and volute motifs on a silk ground. The inside features two pockets lined with purple silk and orange cotton, with the outer edges fringed with blue glass seed beads to protect against the evil eye.
