A Large and Impressive Hand Painted Dutch Delft Vase. Eight reserves; four large ones of a bird and four lesser ones of a stag. Label on the base says "De Oude Moriaans Hoult (The Old Moors Head) Holland Delft (the mark) 1759". This refers to the potters mark, which was first used in 1759 (the Old Moors Head dates from 1648). Just released from my personal collection is this fantastic set of three pieces that date circa ancient China's Western Zhou period; a decorated bronze dagger axe with and accompanying horse bridle fitting decorated with coiled snakes, and a bird finial. Interesting vintage pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces set with detailed medallions depicting a Native American above black onyx plaques. The edges are finished in a classic ropetwist motif. The backs are marked "14K."

Wonderful antique Japanese okimono of the mythical characters Ashinaga and Tenaga. The two friends live on the beach and survive on fish. Tenaga catches them with his long arms while sitting on the back of Ashinaga who wades out into the water with his long legs. Carved with great detail and whimsy out of boxwood. A Ridgway Salt Glaze Relief Molded Stoneware Pitcher; Signed in Imprint "Published by W Ridgway & Co. Hanley October 1, 1835". There is a Pewter Lid on the Beige Body, with the Figures Telling the Story of Tam O'Shanter, from the Robert Burns (1759-1796) poem. I Shows a pub scene to one side, and an equestrian scene to the other. Dimensions; 9" high. Height 9 inches. The pitcher is in excellent condition, but the pewter lid is loose, but not damaged.
