This figural glass lamp was produced by L.E. Smith Company during the 1940's - 50's. The color was fired on over clear glass, giving the opaque finish. This style is referred to as the 'Southern Belle' lamp. I have 2 available. Both have been re-wired so they work fine. The shade clips on the light bulb. (Bulb not included, I recommend 25 or 40 watt bulbs so the glass doesn't get too hot.) Please specify which you'd like. All are in good shape.
A Cellini Craft Arts & Crafts sterling ladle. This finely crafted Georg Jensen style sterling gravy ladle was made by the American Cellini Craft company of Chicago in the 1930s. This 6-1/4" ladle has a 2-1/4" wide bowl and a hand hammered finish on all surfaces; it has a looping arch of silver with nodes terminating in a ball which stands proud of the handle and is reminiscent of the Georg Jensen style. Tea bowl with enamelled blue and gilt decoration, Jiaqing c 1800. The blue inside border with small stars in gilt makes it probable that the bowl was intended for the American market.

Beautiful Japanese Wajima lacquer stand with gold maki-e painting on a nashi-ji (pear skin) background. The designs are scrolling vines with stylized chrysanthemums and paulonias, which are the crests of the emperor and empress. The style of sparkling nashiji lacquer work and the theme were popular in the Taisho period (1912-1926) to the beginning of the Showa era, sometime after the return of the throne to the emperor.

Beautiful Shusu (satin silk) Uchikake kimono from the Meiji period (1868 - 1912). All hand sewn with embroidery and gold couching work - overlaying of threads (real gold wrapped around thread) rather than going in and out of the base fabric.
