A vintage brooch by Taxco artisan Enrique Ledesma with a sterling silver overlay on a shell background. There are two small round inlays of copper.

Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Marked on the back with a partial Ledesma, Taxco, 925, and an Eagle mark. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely.

Fine condition with some tarnish. The shell is a deep brown with lots of swirls.

Rare design.

An Interesting Stylish Vintage Burl Wood Lamp. Mid Century Modern Lamp with unusual wood shade. Measures about 24" tall, base about 10 1/2 at its widest, shade about 15" by 10". One small hole in shade as shown, otherwise fine. Could not find a maker's mark, maybe someone will know. Great look.

A Fine Mountain Landscape Painting, probably from the 1930's or earlier. Measures about 24" by 16", in its frame of about 26 1/2" by 18 1/2". Signed lower right by the artist, it looks like "Chas Lowe". Great look.

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch and earrings by noted silversmith, Maxwell Chayat. Brooch measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/2" wide. Has a rollover clasp that holds tightly. Marked Chayat Sterling. Earrings are screw backs and measure about 3/4". Marked Sterling on the screw back. Screw backs hold tightly. Sterling 'pearls' against oxidized darker sterling background. A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver cuff links by noted silversmith, Ed Wiener. Have a dotted texture contrasted by a more satin finish. Measure 3/4" long and 3/8" across. Marked Ed Wiener, Sterling. Toggles work fine. Cool Mid Century design.

An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an central agate cabochon by Jens Peter Clausen Guðjónsson of Iceland. Signed JENS 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. The top sits 1" high and measures about 3/4" across. Has an interesting texture on the sides. Heavy sterling. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A sterling silver heavy brooch with a floral overlay of hammered sterling by Georg Jensen USA. Measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked USA Georg Jensen Inc. Sterling Handwrought and 451. Closes with a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish. Pin on the clasp has a slight bend in it. Well made, delicate hammering. Rare design.

A very well constructed pair of sterling silver and pearl cufflinks by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement. Cufflinks are made from two layers of curved sterling connected at the corners. They have an offset pearl attached to the under layer for a 3D effect. Measure 3/4" square. Toggles swivel. A bold, modernist solid sterling silver ring by the noted Danish jewelry designer, Jens Asby. Measures between a 6.5 and 7. Front measures 5/8" wide and 1" across. Marked with the JA in a shield, Denmark, Hand Made and 925S. Has a few minor dings and surface scratches. Feels like you are wearing something special when you have it on! Great design.

A wonderful, modernist sterling silver link bracelet by the Swedish jeweler, Isaac Cohen. Made up of five curved links with an abstract design and a hook clasp. Marked with ICO for the maker, Crown mark for Sweden, Z8 for 1950, Town mark for Stockholm, and the Silver Standard mark for Sweden. Measures about 7 1/4" long and 1/2" wide. Hook clasp holds securely. Fine condition, quality piece.

A modernist brooch by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby. This brooch measures 3/4" tall and 1 3/4" across. One end is smooth and the other end is textured. Has a freshwater pearl off center. Has an fhb mark and Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds securely. Fine condition, just a few minor scratches. Classic mid century design.

A sterling silver modernist Star of David by the Israeli jeweler, Rachel Gera. Pendant measures 3 1/2" long including the large bale and 1 3/4" across. Chain measures 24" long and closes with a spring clasp. Pendant is marked Handmade, Gera Israel and 925. Thick sterling, fine quality.

A sterling silver modernist bangle bracelet by noted Mid Century jeweler, Caroline Gleick Rosene. This bracelet is textured on some surfaces and smooth on others for an interesting contrasting effect. Marked Sterling Rosene on the inside. The mark is partially struck. Measures approximately 8" around. The bangle is easy to put on because of the oval shape. Great example of Mid Century studio jewelry.

A modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet with a sterling wire overlay. Marked Sterling and 'the silversmith', which has been associated with mid century jeweler Ella Cone, who had The Silversmiths' shop in Boston. Measures approximately 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures about 1 7/8" at the widest. Has some tarnish and surface scratches. Nice contrast between the oxidized and polished silver. Fine example of Mid Century Modernist studio jewelry. Looks great on!

A vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet by Taxco artisan, Erika Hult de Corral in a zig zag pattern. Marked Ric, Taxco SA, Sterling, Hecho en Mexico, Eagle #3 and 925. Measures 6 7/8" around and 2 1/4" at the highest. Has some very minor surface scratches. Clasp snaps securely. There is a safety hook for extra security. Nice weight, heavy and solid. Great modernist design!

An Arts and Crafts hammered sterling silver ring with a blue bezel set cabochon by the Art Silver Shop of Chicago. Stone measures 3/4" long and 1/2" across. Measures about a size 3 1/2 so currently would probably be worn as a pinky ring. Marked on the back with Hand Made, conjoined TASS and Sterling. Mark is behind the part of the ring where the stone is so it could resized without disturbing it. You can see the light hammering. Beautifully made. Great example.

An interesting pendant- a taxidermy eye set in 14K gold. Pendant measures 1" long and 5/8" at the widest. Marked 585 for the gold and what looks like 31. Currently suspended on a gold colored intricate chain that measures 20" long and has a secure spring closure. Looks very hand made. Fun mid century modernist design.

An abstract sterling silver bracelet made up of 6 curved and flattened sterling bars connected with rivetsby NYC studio jeweler, Henry Steig. Has a very industrial feel.

Measures about 8" around. Slides on to the wrist. Signed on the inside with Steig Sterling. Has some minor surface scratches.
