Interesting pottery flute in the shape of a bird. Greek dating to c. 600 BC.

The body is very nicely detailed with naturalistic bird features.

Size: 5,5 cm.

An old collection tag on the base: "No. 000693, v. Hassermann-Jordan Deidesheim."

Condition: A nice fragment with the head missing.

An attractive large Phoenician stamp seal of a scaraboid form, dating to c. 800 BC.

The seal carved in a in a nice marble stone and engraved with an interesting image of a god carying a crocodile and a bird or snake in each hand.

Size: 20 mm. long and 16 mm. broad and 11 mm. tall.

Condition: Good Very fine, intact with light wear.

This seal was aquired 1993 and comes with hard impression and original ID-card from below collection.

An early 'Grand Tour' style large Estate stamp seal, European, probably c. 1820-1850.

The seal cast with an heroic bust of a greek god of war, probably Ares or Athena in the classical style. A monogram of two capital letters finely engraved in the seals base.

Size: 12,5 cm. tall and weighing 225 grams.

Condition: Nice Very fine, intact and with remnants of original silver and gilt in the details.

Carved in a fine glossy green stone, rectangular shape and with a low pierced handle on the back. The seal carved with an elephant in a nice early Roman style of the 1st. century BC.

The style of the Elephant is clearly in family with denarii issued from military mints at the time of Julius Caesar.

Condition: Extremely fine, intact with light encrusted dirt in the devices.

An interesting pair of ancient Greek wheel-made pottery lamps in orange clay, dating to 4th-1st cent AD.

Both lamps with a central, conical tube. The concave rim turned inwards and rounded short nozzles with large wick holes. Old collection tags on both pieces
