A rare, delicately hammered dress clip by the well known Danish silversmith, Erik Magnussen. After working at Gorham and having his own shops in Chicago and New York, he opened a shop in Hollywood and designed for the stars. Returned to Denmark in 1939. A wonderful Danish Skonvirke sterling silver brooch signed SJ for S. L. Jacobsen. Jacobsen was a silversmith who collaborated with Evald Nielsen, a well known jewelry designer known for his Skonvirke designs. Measures 2 1/2" long and 2" at the widest. Has two green stone cabochons. Marked 830S SJ 830S on the back. Beautiful Arts and Crafts design. Has an older 'C' clasp. Very nice condition, one minor ding near the edge of the top piece. Quality piece. Beautiful classic Danish design.

Has some numbers scratched on the back of the brooch part. Crystal is in nice condition. Missing one marcasite near the top of the brooch. Rollover clasp holds tightly. Blue enameled hands. Very pretty watch.

An important early brooch of sterling silver by the acclaimed American modernist jeweler, Margaret De Patta. Measures 3" long and 1 5/8" at the widest. Early incised maker's mark. Circa 1935. Heavy layered sterling in an abstract floral design. Wonderful condition, with some very minor surface scratches and tarnish. Missing the rollover bar on the clasp. Slight bend on the pin. A similar De Patta brooch can be seen in the Philips de Pury Design Auction dated May 24, 2007, lot number 189....

Makers Sterling and with a stylized 'M' for the directorship of John C. Moore II. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Includes dark blue Tiffany & Co. box. Rare find.

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch designed by Erling Christoffersen for Norway Designs Plus. Looks like a stylized butterfly. Measures 1 1/2" across and 1 1/4" high. Has an earlier 'C' clasp. Marked with ND, 925S, Sterling and the Plus sign. Has a dark patina but could be polished up if you choose. Some minor surface scratches. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

Marked fhb, Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds tightly. Nice condition, just a few minor scratches and a little tarnish. A wonderful example of Mid Century Modern jewelry.

Measures 2 3/8" across and 1" wide. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has a cutout mark on the back that may indicate the maker, but we do not recognize it. Has a little tarnish. Well constructed, interesting design.

A modernist sterling silver and glass brooch or pendant signed 925, Zilka Hand Made. Measures 4" across and 2 1/2" high. Has a bale so can be worn on a neck ring or chain and a rollover safety clasp to be worn as a brooch. Nice warm patina. Great organic design.

An early cross brooch in Sterling Silver with Coral, Amethyst and Mother of Pearl by Matilde Poulat. Measures 1 5/8" across and 1 7/8" tall. Marked MATL, 925 and also has an etched 'E'. Has a squiggle of silver attached to the bottom by two rings. Amethyst stone is faceted. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish. Very unusual combination of stones.
