A beautifully decorated famille rose/verte hexagon shaped tazza with 5 different brightly coloured gold fish swimming in a hexagon shaped pond surrounded by water lilies, lotus and water plants. A very beautiful green funerary vase potted from earthenware. It is slightly heavy as there is earth harden on the inside of the vase, due to the long period of burial. The center part of the body appears to be molded in two parts and probably lute together by a clay liquid slip that acted like glue. An extremely beautiful and a museum quality Han dynasty ear cup. This is a rare and an unusual and exceptionally big ear cup, make of red pottery. Such big ear cup with design motives is rarely seen and in such good condition. This piece was discovered from the sea. This accounts for the loss in the green glossy glaze, but a more mat green and whitish colour on the ear cup. It has both patterns and line motive design like clouds on the side and the base of the cup.

Japanese late 18th century white IMARI figure of a gentleman. Formed by hand and made of white porcelain with a clear glaze. The gentleman is dressed in formal kimono and is carrying a fan. Done with wonderful expression and in very nice detail. The piece has some natural flaws in the clay and glaze, such as stress cracks and glazing flaws. The figure stands 17 1/2" tall, is 6 1/2" wide and is 5" deep.

This late 19th century Chinese overlay Peking glass vase is 10 ¾ inches high and 5 ½ inches on the widest part. It depicts a well known Chinese story “The goddess of Luo River.” A groom drives a dragon cart over the river while the goddess Luo sits in the cart. Two maids are following them. The workmanship is precise and elegant. It is in excellent condition.

This rare Ming Dynasty (1368 ~ 1615) green, brown and yellow burial sedan chair is 12 inches high, 4 ½” wide and 3 ¾ inches deep. Two curved parts on the roof have been reattached. It is quite possible that the top of the roof is an old replacement.

This late 19th century Chinese carved bamboo arm rest is 6 ¾ inches long and 2 ¼ inches wide. It depicts an autumn scene; three frogs resting behind lotus leaf and dry lotus pod. The poem on the top translate as: “When crabs are growing to maturity and yellow mums are withering away, I am drinking wine beneath a blue autumn sky.” The workmanship of the picture and calligraphy are just elegant. It has nice patina and is in excellent condition.

This early 20th century Chinese table screen is 18 inches high (11 ¼ inches without stand), 18 ½ inches wide (16 ¾ inches without stand) and 9 inches deep. Aside from a few light scratches on the surface of the marble, it is in excellent condition.
