A Chinese, amber glazed, Hu jar which follows the archaic bronze form; Han dynasty. The low-fired lead glaze was further embelished with a green swirling decoration to the shoulder of the jar. This was likely achieved by using a copper pigment.

Beautiful antique bowl from the late Southern Song/ Yuan Dynasty, 12-14th century. The bottom of the bowl is applied with two scaly fish. The bowl is covered overall with a sea green tone glaze that is paler on raised areas. It measures 1.75" high by 5.25" wide.

Rare Large Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Glazed Buddhist Zodiac Jar
This very rare pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province.
