This is a Chinese Export blue and white Canton pattern porcelain pot de creme with cover, circa 1810-1820, having an entwined-strap handle decorated with gilt on blue floral terminals. The porcelain cover has a fruit-sprig knop. Measurements: 3 1/2 in. H; Condition: rim chips on cup and cover, wear to gilt on handle.

A rare pair of qianjiang dishes painted and signed by Zhang Ziying (also known as Zhang Yun) who was associated with the imperial kiln during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875 - 1908). Both carry poems which translate "fortune and luck for life). A rare ovoid vase on high flaring foot painted in shades of underglaze blue and made in China for export to Europe during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). This piece, probably made in southern China is glazed on the outside overall except the base and base with a lustrous translucent emerald green glaze. The glaze stops just short of the foot in a thickened curtain effect of gloss and deep green tone. A 7.5" mirror pair of silver wired Inaba vases, unsigned. Each blue black chrome rimmed vase is decorated with a scene of red crowned cranes at the seaside.

Northern Song ( 11th - 12th century ) The lustrous and glossy black glaze on the fine white body of this extremely rare piece are characteristic of the finest " Ding " vessels developed in the Dingzhou kilns at Quyang, Ding county, Hebei province in the Northern Song period. H : 4,2 cm. Condition : When examined with a 10X lense there is to see a very fine hairline to the body which is nearly invisible with the free eye, further in a perfect condiion.

This late 19th century Japanese small cloisonn¨¦ vase is 3 ½ inches tall and 2 1/8 inches wide. It carries a chrysanthemum and butterfly design on a black and goldstone background. It is in good condition.

Beautiful antique bowl from the late Southern Song/ Yuan Dynasty, 12-14th century. The bottom of the bowl is applied with two scaly fish. The bowl is covered overall with a sea green tone glaze that is paler on raised areas. It measures 1.75" high by 5.25" wide.

Naturalistic crayfish made of copper from the Meiji period, 1868 -1912. The piece is unusual in that the legs, antennae, and tail move in the same way that a real crayfish moves. It is signed Shinju on the base of the body. It measures 6" long.

A very rare well potted Celadon glazed Melon-shape Ewer. Longquan ware, Southern Song Dynasty, 12th - early 13th century. Diameter of the body : 10,3 cm. ( From spout to the end of the handle : 13,1 cm. ) H : 10,7 cm. Condition : There is an insignificant and invisible professional repair to the handle and to the bottom of the piece. This rare piece would be a absolute addition to any Longquan collection.

This axe is an example of the ‘duck-bill’ type, so-called because of its likeness to a duckbill, with its elongated blade with a central ridge and two large oval holes...

This peach bloom glazed vase (mei ping) is a late 19th century product. It is 6 ¾” high, 2” wide from the middle, 1” wide from the bottom and 1 5/8” wide from the mouth of the vase. There is a six character blue under glaze KangXi honorable mark on the bottom. There are two spiral stretch lines inside the narrow neck but did not show from the outside. It is in great condition.

An extremely beautiful, large and impressive white glazed covered box with moulded decoration. Yuan Dynasty ( 1279 - 1368 ) Fujian ware, probably Anxi or Dehua. A similar piece is in the collection of the Baur Foundation and in Köln in the Museum für Ostasiatische Kunst. Another similar example is illustrated in the catalogue " The Tectus Collection", preface Rosemary Scott. Diameter : 14,5 cm. H : 8,8 cm. Condition : Perfect.
