These very well painted “egg shell” quality Kutani dishes are 19th century products. They are 8 ¼” in diameter. A pair of Satsuma vases decorated with two scenes one is a scene of a group of samurai strolling around the streets of Edo and another view is a group of court nobles walking in a garden like setting. This is Apron textile of the baby shibori & nishiki-ori of the last part of Edo era(1800-1867).
It is a very impressive design. It has a thin stain. It has a little snag and part which I rubbed against. The black part is a velvet, and the lining is crimson silk.

This panel displays a scene of two people in a landscape setting, one holding a flute and the other holding a fan. It was later bordered with a black silk band which has slightly separated from the panel in two areas at the top and bottom, as seen in the photographs. There are also some old stains that have little effect on the image.

This small Shoushan stone (寿 山 石) carving is an early 20th century product. It is 2 ¼” high, 2 ¾” wide and 1 ¾” thick. It depicts two immortals He-He Er Xian (和 合 二 仙) also known as the “two spirits of Harmony and Union" sitting next to each other. Two straw hats rest on their backs. They hold a small woven round box in front of them; another large box is sitting nearby. A tiny lucky bat is trying to escape from the small box...
These late 19th century Chinese Famille Verte ceramic bowls are 1 7/8” high and 5” in diameter. There are two green dragons chasing flame surrounded red globes on the outside the bowls. Inside the bowls, there is one globe with flames. There is an orange peach and lucky bat mark on the bottom of each bowl. Aside from some small hair line cracks due to their age and three tiny chips on one bowl due to the firing, they are in very good condition.
A rare well potted jar with fine porcelain body and very well painted, in under glaze blue, depicting two flying phoenix amongst scrolling foliage. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722) but this item was made later, in the 19th Century, probably circa 1800-1850 during the reign of either the Jiaqing or the Daoguang emperor. Condition - excellent - no damages and no repairs or restoration...
A fine tinsel, or foil, painting. The relatively uncommon subject matter is a basket of fruit, nicely reverse painted on glass with tinsel backing. What unfortunately doesn't show well in the photo, because of the lighting, is the bunch of grapes directly under the basket.
The painting is in very good condition, with what is probably its original gilded frame and wood backing. The overall size is 16" by 14".
A lovely late 19th c tightly woven wool Tibetan prayer mat with Buddhist symbols, An excellent example from a private collection.

By natural shape, the root wood was touched with the least manual work.
Nevertheless, it was represented in favoured scholar taste.
Darken patina was yielded in some areas due to age when some portion of the wood was in a quality that in original lighter tint.

A fine 17th century French tapestry table runner, with the motif weaving flowers and fruit throughout the piece. The overall condition is excellent, with no holes or tears. Carefully laid down on a linen backing. The length is 67" and the width is 13 3/4".
Acquired from a long time private collection, where it was used as a table display piece, but could certainly be used, in smaller segments, to make a number of exquisite pillows.
A beautifully fashioned English antique firing dram glass. Most glasses of this type (opaque twist firing glasses) have an ogee or ovoid bowl, as opposed to this funnel, or conical, type. The lower half of the bowl is fluted, while the stem contains a double series opaque twist comprised of a pair of spiral threads outside of a central gauze.
Condition is excellent, with no problems at all. Good color, striations, and tooling...

Tibetan Himalayan Match Striker, Coral and Turquoise natural stones set in the embossed and high relief decorated hard Silver and Brass borders on Yak Skin Leather, 3 5/8" high without ring, 6" wide steel striker. This antique copper reposse gau houses a picture instead of a clay tsa tsa which was common for a family gau. when the family could afford to do so, the picture would be replaced by a clay tsatsa. A rare Kashmir teapot with hinged lid standing on three small feet. The metal base, here copper or bronze, was first engraved with special tools to create the design in relief, the grooves were later filled with glass and then embellished with additional engraving and shiny gilding. This technique is called in India "meena" or "meenakari" and was first applied by the Mughal. With a small handwritten note explaining its provenance. A Doccia master salt circa 1770; the molded form is a copy of a silver form. The piece is decorated with red enamel flowers with gilt highlights. Doccia was founded circa 1735 near Florence and continues to produce porcelain. Height is approximately 1 ½ inches (3.8 cm). Length is 3 ¼ inches (7.6cm) and width is 2 5/8 inches (5.1 cm).
Condition: Chipped foot with slight discoloration on foot, otherwise nice.
The master salt is made in an unusual form with bright decoration.

This rare carved jade archaic burial ornament is 4 7/16” long, 1 11/16” high and 3/16” thick. It was carved on both sides. It depicts a stylized beast with small wings, a small long tailed beast is hanging on its body. It has a very nice patina, especially on its tail. It is in great condition.
This jade (jadeite) pendant is 2 3/8” long, 1 3/4” wide and 5/16” thick. It is an early 20th century product. It is carved on both sides as a carp with lotus leaf and some small unknown flowers. It was designed and carved in an ingenious way, using the green part of the stone as the carp and the white translucent part as the lotus leaf. It is in great condition.
Strand of Tuareg seed pod prayer beads from the region of Timbuktu, Mali. A talisman is added on with handmade cord and decorated with elephant hairs (from tail) and cowrie shells.
