This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 3 3/4 inches and the cup is 1 7/8 inches high. The saucer is deep and does not have a well. The cup has an art nouveau style handle. Both pieces have bands of tiny hand painted roses and delicate gilding around the rims. Handsome Victorian covered brass box with a beaver finial. The beaver is cast in bronze and is shown chomping on a tree stump. The detail and workmanship on the finial is excellent. The box will polish very nicely, but we have left the original patina.

This plate is transfer printed with a shaded pink ground; it has a pseudo Sevres mark and it could be American or European. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a couple of minor scratches to the image...

American circa 1885 Victorian winter landscape painting of houses with smoking chimneys along a trodden path in mid winter, several figures braving the elements on this cold day. A charming early primitive work, enhanced by the "sparkles" applied to the snow to ensure that winter effect. Condition is excellent. The typically Victorian blue velvet (worn) adds to the period authenticity. Frame has a bit of wear, some small sections chipped or missing. Measures 23 1/2" by 23 1/2" in the frame.

This fine Staffordshire copper luster pitcher is decorated with a blue band of enamel, creating a very clean, simple design, accented with beading around the border and rim of the pitcher. The fancy serpentine and strap handles give it grace. The warmth of the copper makes it an attractive accessory to a bookshelf or cabinet.

Attractive bracelet with 8 nicely proportioned brilliant cut rock crystals set in individual gilt metal rope bezels attached to one another with a double set of links. The bracelet fits a medium-sized wrist and hangs attractively. The clear stones and gilt metal would make a nice addition when worn with other gold bangles as the clear rock crystal stones and gilt metal compliment gold.Fits a small to medium sized wrist.

These 4 porcelain figurines were produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. They have the impressed shield of Nymphenburg in the base of each piece. The tallest of the figures is 7 1/4 inches high to the shortest one which measures 6 1/2 inches high. They are made of fine white hard paste porcelain with a high gloss glaze. The cherubs are executed in blanc de chine and are very similar to figures produced by Meissen...

English Transferware Plate, marked "E. Challinor", "Dora" red Transferware Plate, Ca. 1856, 8 1/2" diameter, cows, sheeps and farm house scenery, very pleasant farm animals and houses, and crazing glaze on the surface on the some spots, condition is good.

19th C Meissen "Love Crowned" porcelain hand painted figurine of Cupid placing a flower crown over a pair of hearts. In excellent condition save for one small chip on base bottom corner. It is marked with cross swords in underglaze on the base. Measures about 5.5"s high, 2.75" wide, 2.25" deep. Circa 1880. We also have "Love Captive", see last photo.

Outstanding and gorgeous Victorian liquor decanter in cranberry overshot glass. The body is blown in a ribbed shape and is accented with vertical gilt stripes. The neck is fitted with a silverplate collar and the most extraordinary silverplated jockey head stopper.

Origin: probably England, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent, except for two very short, stable hairlines at the neck that are original to the piece; stopper retains the original cork and fits well. Size: 12-3/4" tall.

A very finely-made coin silver pastry or cake server, the handle decorated with a spray of flowers in the Aesthetic style. The blade has ornately shaped sholders and wonderful bright-cut engraving. The back of the handle has a period 3-letter monogram "MSS" and is marked "Pure Coin Pat. App. For". The retailer's mark is "Hutchinson & Connell".

Majolica wares were all about representing nature, and this gurgle fish pitcher is no exception. These fish pitchers came in a number of variations, most of which dealt with color schemes and minor design differences. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Helena Wolfsohn Dresden in the 1880s. The shape of the set is quatrefoil. It is decorated with alternating panels of flowers and landscape scenes with lovers in gardens. Ornate gilding trims the rims and separates the panels. All the decoration is painstakingly hand painted in the Meissen style. Condition: Excellent

A vintage Victorian period porcelain pink lustre 5 piece condiment or cruet set depicting a playing pair of cherubs or children with the legend "A present from Rathdowney" (a town located in County Laois, Ireland). This 5-3/8" across set is 5-1/4" deep and stands 4-1/2" high with the lids and shaker insert. It includes the base with molded leaf decoration, gold trim and the original spoon for the lidded mustard pot; the shaker inserts into one of the cups...

A pair of octagonal dessert plates by Copeland, the edges dented and gilt. Japanised, “Aesthetic” decoration of brambles or blackberries, transfer printed and hand painted with some gilt over part of the withered leaves and berries. Diameter "9/ 22.8 cm. The back with the impressed curved mark used by Copeland from 1860 to 1880, and N80, probably for November 1880. Condition: fine.
