19th C Meissen "Love Crowned" porcelain hand painted figurine of Cupid placing a flower crown over a pair of hearts. In excellent condition save for one small chip on base bottom corner. It is marked with cross swords in underglaze on the base. Measures about 5.5"s high, 2.75" wide, 2.25" deep. Circa 1880. We also have "Love Captive", see last photo.

Victorian silver baby cup. Made by S. Kirk & Son in Baltimore. Straight sides with allover floral repousse on stippled ground. Cast and capped leaf scroll handle and pointille foot border. C1880 Victorian buckle bracelet beautifully engraved with clover leaves and a geometric design. The bracelet is stamped "Sterling". Buckle bracelets became very popular when Queen Victoria wore the Order of the Garter on her arm. The bracelet measures 1 3/16" wide. The interior dimensions are 1 7/8" wide by 2 1/8" long.

Antique 9K gold Victorian "message" ring, "Mizpah, symbolizing a bond between two people, comes from a bible quote in the book of Genesis, "The Lord watch between thee and me, when we are absent one from another". Mizpah is the Hebrew word for "Watchtower", a pillar of stones which symbolized the covenant between Jacob and Laban. Mizpah rings were often exchanged between two people in the hope of protecting the two during a period of separation, often by war.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Carl Thieme Dresden studio in the 1890s. It is 9 3/4 inches in diameter. The porcelain blank is reticulated around the 1 3/4 inch border. There are reserves containing 4 vignettes of lovers in garden landscapes. They alternate with the cut out floral pattern similar to the type Meissen used. The center of the plate has a large Watteau scene with couples in 18th century dress. The painting is done in fine detail and bright colors...

A wonderful set of 10 sterling silver egg spoons in Tiffany’s rare 1872 “Vine” pattern in the “Wild Rose” variant. “Vine” was made in several variations, all of which depicted flowers and fruit that grown on vines. The elongated rounded bowls nicely complement the wavy handles decorated with sinuous wild rose vines. The backs are fully marked with Tiffany marks used 1875-91.

Probably, our finest and surely the heaviest silver icon, we've had for a while! Russian Orthodox icon with an amazing wrought and chisseled Oklad, dating 1871.

This is NOT the usual foliage thin silver sheet oklad but a a heavy thick hammered and chisseled silver oklad in a baroque style with relief heads in each corner and weighing several 100s of grams in .84 silver. Fine gilt to the details. The icon itself with four saints and Christ with halo in the sky.
