This porcelain flower pot with under plate was produced at the Meissen Factory in Germany between the 1890s and 1910. The under plate has a diameter of 7 1/2 inches and the pot measures 6 1/4 inches high and 7 1/4 inches in diameter. The porcelain is quite substantial and heavy. Large antique, 18th century, American Revolutionary war period, Pennsylvania Dutch rifleman's powder horn (1770s-1780).

It is made of a hollowed-out brown horn with a domed oval wood base secured with brass tacks and fitted with a brass loop in the center for a suspension cord.

Papier maché and mother of pearl plaque depicting the romantic ruins of medieval Llanthony Priory in Wales. Probably part of a Victorian portrait case and made by Jennens & Bettridge around 1840. Jennens (sometimes Jennings) and Bettridge, originally based in Birmingham, were famous for their beautiful papier maché products and had stores in New York and Paris as well. Their mother of pearl inlay was covered with tinted varnish as to create an iridescent effect...

Finely potted blue and white Chinese export Canton handleless sugar bowl with minute, barely discernible firing flaws. About 5-1/2" W x 5-5/8" H. No chips, frits, hairlines or repairs. Sugar bowls with braided handles were harder to make and morphed into the later handleless ones, c. 1880-1910. Described as "rare" by the Schiffers in CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN, c. 1975. Substantial 4 coiled 18K Snake Ring with rubies and diamonds of increasing sizes along the head of the ring. The 4 bands wind around the ring terminating in a flourish of the snake's tail. A lovely balustroid drinking glass with a flared bell bowl on a stem with an inverted baluster knop with enclosed tear. All this above a cushion basal knop surmounting a beaded knop above a domed and folded foot. Note that balustroids with teared knops are sometimes attributed to Newcastle glass houses. The bowl has a small black slag seed.

6 1/2 inches in height, with a bowl diameter of 2 1/4 inches and a foot diameter of 2 1/2 inches.

This set of 6 porcelain dessert plates was produced in Germany by KPM Royal Berlin in 1918. The black cross denotes this specific year. The plates have a diameter of 8 3/4 inches. They have a reticulated border with rococo style rims. Each plate has a delicate spray of exquisitely hand painted flowers in shades of rose, green and gray. This porcelain charger or plate was produced in Saxony around 1900. It has a manufacturer’s mark we are not familiar with. The plate measures 10 3/4 inches. The border is hand painted with alternating blue and cream colored squares. The cream colored squares contain hand painted baskets of flowers, framed in raised gold and topped off with a gold heart. The blue squares have scenes of young couples in early 19th century dress, standing in between potted topiary plants with ribbons...

A Dutch delft tile from between 1625 and 1650 showing a blue flower in the center enclosed in an oval of three blue lines. The single blossom has blue petals and a yellow center. The green leaves on a blue stem grow out of a yellow bulb on the ground. Art Nouveau glass decanter with engraved silver overlay. Made by Alvin Corporation in Providence, ca 1890. Conical with cut-to-clear geometric ornament at base, and star on underside. Dense overlay with rinceaux, flowers, and scrollwork. Ball stopper with grape bunches and leaves in strapwork frames. Decanter is cranberry and stopper is clear. Silver fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. R112QT. Very good condition.
