Antique Tibetan flint carrying pouch (also mechag or chuck muck), made of leather with plaques of repousse silver with inlaid turquoise front medallion. Motifs of filigree are seen through the silver plating with a pair of diving swallows. The backside of the pouch with heavy studs. The top of the pouch is fitted with a ring for suspending from the wearer's belt.

Very large Burmese hammered repousse copper-brass-bronze alloy bowl, with traces of silver, decorated with relief panels depicting "Chin Thei" Burmese Buddhist Lions and scrolled stylized foliage. Such bowls were primarily used in ceremonies. 19th Century, nice natural aged patina. Good condition, Size: H. 16 cm. x 30 cm. diameter at center (H.6.5" x 12" diameter).

Chatur + bhuja are the two Sanskrit words that mean 'four arms.'

Beautiful 18th century black stone schist of vishnu with four arms. The arms hold a flower, a talisman with a 5 point star, a chile, and one hand is open palm outward with a dot in the middle. There are two attendants, one on either side. It measures 20" tall by 10" wide. Has metal base 4" deep.
Antique bronze Moroccan black powder container. Appliqué copper with fine chasing. Original patina matching that of its age and use. Copper rings used for mounting piece for ease of use while traveling.
