This large standing Buddh, Amrta-raja (one of five or seven standing Buddhas), with feet slightly apart with hands held together, draped in loose robes falling in regular folds at the chest, wide face with finely arched brows centering a small white urna above slightly open eyes, and there are too much details to describe this standing figure...
This seven feet tall Antique Korean Trident is the only Joseon Dynasty Trident ever offered for sale. The few existing examples are all in museums in Korea. Only Korea has this type of trident with the small round iron cymbals under the fork for scaring off tigers and other wild animals. The shape of the fork is also uniquely Korean. The Chinese trident has much rounder corners. 82 inches (208 cm) tall, 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) wide.
A Very Fine Blue and White Porcelain Jar:

The globular body, set on a raised and recessed ring foot, and with
everted rim, well decorated under glaze blue with two sprays of fruiting
cutrine and two tasseled cash motifs below a band of Ruyi patern around neck.
It’s in very fine condition without any chips or repairs.
It measures 12.5cm h. x 15.5cm d.

This pair of painted portraits depicts the newlywed Justice Minister Choi Seok-min (1858-1915) and his wife. The level of photo-like realism in these paintings is astounding. 19th Century portraits of women are exceedingly scarce. This is the only example we have ever seen offered for sale. The documentation pictured here is included with this pair of portraits. Each painting is 49 x 18 inches, 124.5 x 45.5 cm.
Korean vanity box made with persimmon wood panels. The box lid opens with brass hinges and brass front plating, incised with floral motifs. The interior of the box holds 4 compartments. Its sides conceal two small hidden drawers, opened by brass pulls, and the base of the piece has an interior low shelf.

This rare and unusual shape of water dropper formed as a stylized star-shape,
and is decorated in a thick blue underglaze and a sunken well on the top.
It is in good condition except one tiny chip repaired on rim.
It bears a label on the bottom. Measures 3 ½” x 1 ¼”,

Geese and Reeds Painting (Noando) mounted on luxurious gold silk by Yang Ki Hun aka Seokyeon (1843-1897) from Pyeongyang, signed Seokyeon. Yang Ki Hun's signature 'boneless' style (painting without outlines, using ink washes) beautifully captures light and shade. The literal meaning of 'noando' is reed and geese painting, but it is a play on words, as 'no' means both reed and old, and 'an' means both geese and comfort ('do' means painting)...

A Large/Rare/Fine Korean Copper-Red/Bue Hae-Tae Water Dropper-19th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasty, late 19th century.
An unusual large carved in the form of Hae-Tae (sea lion) with curling tail and hairs, its open round jaw forming the spout, decorated in coppter-red on the mane, and in blue on the ears, its neck wearing a large neck belt with bell, the body glazed thick white with slight tinges of blue, unglazed on the flat base.
