The small face shows nicely modeled features and rather large ears.
The hands are crossed over the chest and hold agricultural implements. The seedbag is slung over the left shoulder. The shabti has a back pillar and stands on an integral base.

Interesting figure of a kneeling man with black African features. The naked man leans forward a little and looks thoughtful. He shows a furrowed brow, receding hairline and puffed up hair.
Nice anatomic detail of the upper body. Right arm missing, a garment covers the partially preserved left.
Superb modeling. Old collection’s tag on the back.

Bust of a young male figure with pleasant expression. The face shows large lidded eyes, a prominent nose and sensuous lips. Venus rings on the neck.
The hair is textured with short sickle-shaped curls and topped by a stippled wreath with ribbons that run along the shoulders.
The boy is dressed in a skin tight robe. Belly button indicated.
The wreath suggests a Dionysian context. The figure possibly depicts the youthful Bacchus.

Vase of outstanding provenance, acquired in 1962, well before the UNESCO World Heritage Convention of 1972.
Black glazed sieve guttus with a raised molding around the perforated sieve at centre. Pairwise cannelures on the cushion-shaped body. The ring handle placed at right angles to the straight spout. Ring foot reserved underneath.

This is really a fantastic fragment of a faience Isis, sitting on a lion throne, nursing her son Horus.
The whole throne, supported by two stringing lions, is well preserved. The lions are extremely fine
and you can see every detail. Dating is between Third Intermediate Period to Late Period.
I think it looks a little bit Nubian, than it is 25th Dynasty. I can not find any parallel of a
comparable faience throne, so it has to be extremely rare.

Larger than usual kylix of Ionian shape showing a deep rounded bowl with high steep rim and slightly tilted handles attached on the belly. The trumpet-shaped foot with flattened resting surface.
The outside of the rim and the handle zone are reserved, as well as the small band inside the lip. No red lines inside.
The shape of the kylix originates from Eastern Greece and was widely exported and soon enough copied in Athens and elsewhere.

Amphora handle with the name of the annual official Pausanias written around the Rhodian rose emblem.
The stamped text reads: ΕΠΙ ΠΑΥΣΑΑΝΙΑ ΣΜΙΝΘΙΟΥ – in the term of Pausanias, in the month Sminthios (March-April).
Three eponyms with the name Pausanias are known from Rhodian amphoras. Our example refers to Pausanias 3, who held office around 152 BC.

Very large black-glazed skyphos with high swelling body and horizontal horseshoe handles.
The torus ring foot with carefully turned and glazed inside edge. The reserved surface with a crimson wash. Excellent brilliant black glaze.
The quality of the pottery shows the treatment of standard Attic products. J. W. Hayes refers to these as Atticizing wares, cf. pp. 43 in: Greek and Italian Black-Gloss Wares and Related Wares in the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto 1984.

Daunian kyathos with wide flat floor and slightly flared rim, the tall strap handle attached at one end.
Decorated (inside and out) with bands and linear patterns in umber and brick red on a buff ground. The floor enhanced with a central flower device.
The floor of vase suffered a shrinkage crack during the drying process. The kyathos was nevertheless fired and reserved for ritual/funerary purposes.
