With a very nice contiuous river landscape scene. Probably mid Qing Dynasty, maybe the signature to the back of the piece gives a more pecise result concerning the dating of the piece. H : 16,7 cm. Condition : Not artifically polished like often seen on Bamboo brush pots. Nice, naturally grown patina. Some old superficial dry - cracks. Definitely not a single of these cracks extens until the inside of the bamboo body. Provenance : Old German collection.

A Chinese Early qing era, probably YongZheng period famille rose dish of flower and bird, in good condition

Early 19th century Chinese bronze scroll weight in a shape of a striding qilin. Wonderful depiction of the benevolent beast, superbly captured dynamic posture, great detailing of his scales, face and flames licking its body. Excellent wear and patina, superb object for a scholar’s desk. Length 2 inches.

A lidded container in a divided, compressed form of finely, carved bamboo root. Good luck bringing Bats (bianfu) carved in relief decorate the sides and lid. Bottom with a la grec pattern. Mid Qing, around 1800. H 10 cm, W 8.2 cm. Condition: Very good. Traces of wear. One short crack on the middle part of the bottom panel filled.

Early 19th century Chinese pewter covered tea caddy of round section with brass inlays of 3 bats with outstretched wings around its body and a SHOW (long life) character on top of the cover. Bats and SHOW character are a reference to the Chinese rebus about blessings of longevity. Wonderful quality precise work with wealth of details (see fur marks on their chests)). Hallmarked on the bottom, double wall to the cover providing better humidity control inside the caddy...

Chinese Qing dynasty blue and white export Dish/plate. 37,3cm X 31,5cm. good conditions with just Minor glaze fretting at the rim.

Small Buddhist lion in almost solid cast bronze. The object is heavy. Beautiful active and fierce expression. Details meticulously chiselled with precision. It is probably work from Vietnam or South China. A very beautiful bronze patina announces a 19th century period or before. Underneath there is no fastening mark, so it was not the grip button of a lid. Not a weight either because part of the underside is hollow. Hight: 6cm. Fine condition.

Across the front, top and sides are garden scenes in gilt featuring people in various activities among trees, rocks and pavilions. Such boxes were used to hold valuables and special items in a wealthy Chinese household. Dating from the early 19th C., this cabinet originates from Shanxi Province and is in quite good condition with expected age wear...

A cast bronze vase. Finely executed. The finish is nice, made with a lathe and a scraper. Very elegant decoration of chains and tassels inlaid in gold and silver. At the neck a frieze of stylized dragons. Beautiful old patina, good condition, no restoration. No mark. High: 30cm.

Chinese Export Porcelain Platter made for American Market, circa 1800, 14 1/2" x 11 3/4" wide, 1 1/4" high, dark orange color rim and floral decoration in the center are all done overglaze enamel and highlighted in brilliant gold. Some gold finish rubbed off around the rim and small floral decorated area in the center. No damage or restoration.

The rectangular top of this bed is inset with rattan, supported by strong woven webbing underneath. Yu mu, or Northern Elm, has an elaborate and beautiful wave-like grain and is favored for Northern Chinese furniture.
