A heavy six-sided porcelain deep bowl decorated on the outside with famille rose enamels depicting ladies and boys in a garden landscape. The base bears the six character seal mark ( painted in iron red) of the Tongzhi emperor (1862-1874). Condition: there are enamel losses to the turquoise glazed interior: no losses to the famille rose enamels: no chips or cracks to the porcelain body and no restoration. 21 cm (8.5 inches) across; 9 cm (3.6 inches) high.

Chinese Qing dynasty baluster vase with long neck and wide dish-form mouth decorated on the front in underglaze blue and white with two birds perched on a tree branch among flowers and rockery all set against a golden-tan colored geyao style crackle glaze background that extends into the interior mouth. Brown dressed rim. The foot rim and base are unglazed. 9 3/4” high. 19th century. Very good overall condition with one small fine hairline at the edge of the mouth (see close-up image)...

He is temperamental but compassionate towards the sick and needy, who he heals using special medicine from the gourd he carries around his waist. Chinese porcelain figure of Lan Caihe, one of the Eight Immortals in Chinese culture or Taoism. Lan is usually depicted carrying a bamboo flower basket as seen here. Lan's gender is always shown in an androgynous manner. The figure's earholes, nostrils, and mouth are pierced through. The bright enamel robes are accented in gilt pigment. Antique Chinese bronze hanging bell with beautiful casting and patina. It hangs by a hook shaped as a two-headed serpent, and its sides are decorated with phoenixes (fenghuang in Chinese, ho-o in Japanese) flying with their head downwards and their long, beautiful tail feathers floating up and over their bodies. The phoenix is a bird of the Sun, so a small Sun adorns two sides of the bell, along with curling motif running along the bottom. Size: 6.5" height, 4.75" width

An unusual Pith / 'Rice' paper picture, delicately painted with a scene from a dramatization of "The Death of Ma Su" who was a famous General under the command of Scholar, Inventor and Political and Military Strategist Zhu Ge Liang (181-234 AD). This story is to be found in the historical novel the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and also in the Peking opera "Loss of Jieting"...

This pieces was made at Jingdezhen kiln famous for blue & white ware and exported to Japan where people loved blue & white ware called "Kosome" in Japan. It has auspicious patterns, beautiful blue color. And it has tiny roughness on the edge of mouth, however it is a character of works made at Jingdezhen kiln, Japanese people loved them because they didn't like perfectness.
