This pieces was made at Jingdezhen kiln famous for blue & white ware and exported to Japan where people loved blue & white ware called "Kosome" in Japan. It has auspicious patterns, beautiful blue color. And it has tiny roughness on the edge of mouth, however it is a character of works made at Jingdezhen kiln, Japanese people loved them because they didn't like perfectness. Rare image of a Qilin Chinese "unicorn" with stunning deep aquamarine Qingbai glaze. This is a fragment of a much larger piece, possibly a finial off a censer. H: 9.5cm/3.9in, W: 7cm/2.8in x 4.5cm/1.8in. The sculpture is in excellent condition, there is a film of hardpacked soil in the crevices which can be (see enlargements), this can be removed with a small blade with a bit of effort, soaking it in water for a week or so will help. The lady is clad in a large thick robe, covering the most of her head, and she is holding a newborn chikd to hear breast. She is standing on a round plint, and the glaze is torquise and dark blue colours.

This miniature jarlet and ewer are very rare so-called “associated finds” when people in Indonesia do excavate pieces of the Song and the Yuan Dynasty. Such pieces are rare and exactly like the larger examples they are genuine pieces from the Song to Yuan Dynasties. Both pieces, the white glazed small miniature ewer and the very well potted jarlet of globular form are very rare and belong to the earliest Dehua ware pieces of the Song Dynasty. Opium box of rounded rectangular shape, decorated with an embossed design all over its body representing a noble man in front of a house in the company of two women, a floral decor, Chinese characters and a geometric design. The lid itself is decorated with an embossed feminine figure (a dancer) surmounted by a bat. The box is made of copper with a fine age patina. China, end of 19th century. Height: 5.6 cm. Very rare Tang Dynasty (618CE to 907CE) terra cotta wall tile depicting the face of a Zhemushou, a fierce guardian earth spirit meant to ward off evil.
