A beautifully colored mottled nephrite jade disc (sword-pommel) in colors of cream, rust and grey. In the center is a small hole encircled by flower petals. A double-lined rim borders the outer rim of the petals. A band of C-curl patterns extend to the double-lined outer rim. 18C Chinese domed jade plaque carved in low relief with Buddhist auspicious symbols. Color is a whitish pale celadon. It is carved very, very thin with two sets of small holes to the back edge. This may have been attached to clothing or fabric or, perhaps, attached to a large ruyi scepter. Condition is excellent and it is wonderfully translucent. Measures: 4" x 3.25".

This is a late 19th century nephrite carving. It depicts a reclined lioness turning her head back to watch her baby trying to climb on her back. It is 1 ½” high, 2 ¾” long and 1 ¼” wide. It is in great condition.

A highly desirable Chinese jade coup, shaped as a lotus leaf with flower blossoms decorating the handle and body. The stone is of an even tone with a slight hint of russet. DESCRIPTION: A lovely white jade toggle (or pendant) with scattered light brown to grayish inclusions, strung with an orange amber bead on a cord. This toggle dates from the Qing Dynasty and is in very good condition; the jade surface is quite smooth to the touch and there are no chips to the jade or amber bead. DIMENSIONS: Jade toggle: 1 1/4" long (3.2 cm) x 1" wide (2.5 cm).

A well-carved nephrite jade plaque depicting a coiled, sinuous dragon paired with a phoenix and spiral-incised "bi" disc. The phoenix and "bi" disc have been covered with a gold lacuer gilding. Soapstone pot. Sculpted decoration of a landscape animated by characters. In certain places, openwork crosses the walls. The cylindrical pot rests on three feet carved from the mass, it is covered with an openwork wooden lid, topped by a soapstone grip representing lotuses. It is possible that it is an incense burner, which would explain the presence of the Openworks for the evacuation of smoke and good ventilation, put into operation it has a very nice effect...

This late 19th century Chinese moss green jade pi is 8 inches in diameter and half inch thick. One side is carved with a landscape scene depicting two horses drinking water in a river. The other side is plain. The jade pi fits in a custom made wood stand. It is in excellent condition.

Superb chinese fluorite carving of Guanyin with a weight of 2,1 kg, made around 1750. It is Jade green in areas and almost clear in others and it shows the numerous flaws running through so stone typical of so-called green quartz (actually fluorite). It is raised on a hardwood stand, which is forming the torso of the Guanyin.

Wonderful and unusual display piece with a cubistic aesthetic - definitely singular.

This is an authentic neolithic nephrite jade adze/chisel, measuring some 9" (22cm) in length and 1" (2.5cm) in width. A heavy, substantial piece, guaranteed ancient. The stone is a beautiful deep green with substantial dark inclusions. The tapered end shows apparent signs of use.

Small Chinese Bi-form white jade ornament in the Mughal manner with cupped chrysanthemum petals in three, concentric, graduated circles surrounding a cross-hatched, pierced center. The flat verso cupped slightly toward the face along the rim, with small drilling (exhibiting hand craftsmanship) either side of the central aperture and with the surface exhibiting natural texture of the hand worked surface. Qing dynasty. Good condition. Diameter 2 1/8 inches.

A pale celadon nephrite "heart shaped" jade carving, done entirely by hand. The piece measures 4-1/2" in length and 2-3/4" at its widest point. The raised carving is approximately 3/4" in height. The design is of a coiled dragon, as shown in the photos. Evident signs of alteration/calcification in the stone. This is not a modern piece and is guaranteed to be no later than the 19th century and possibly earlier. A genuine and substantial carving, beautifully done.

Antique Chinese jade miniature duck holding a lingzhi sprig in its beak as it turns to look down it's tail. The bird is beautifully carved with details of the feathers and head done with great naturalism, 19th century. It measures 2" long 1" wide 1.5" tall.

This pendant is carved in the shape of a peach and pomegranate in an orange-toned semi-translucent stone, having a slightly reddish tone toward the flower end of the pomegranate. The carving is of flattened low-relief form and the stone has a fairly high polish that has mellowed somewhat from wear. Good condition.

Exceptional thinly carved pair of Nephrite jade of opaque and translucent chromophore composed of a dark green and mottled matrix indicative of spinach jade. The Gu shaped vase is a rectangular form (viewed from the top) with its splaying profile delineated on all terminating four corners with a flaring trumpet neck and mouth opening. The central polygon body contours down to a flared base fitted on a carved wooden stand.

Chinese agate girdle clasp, also called "sui" in Chinese. I am uncertain about the date of it, but do believe that it should be from Qing Dynasty or earlier. It is in good condition with russet streaks. 2-3/8" X 1-1/8" X 1/2".

Pair Chinese Rose Quartz hardstone carved Foo Lions on carved hardwood stands, 19th century, 3 3/4" high with stand and 2 3/4" high without stand, 3 1/4" wide, 2 1/4" deep, with open mouth. There are some natural grains and infusions on the tail and head area. Round hole on the bottom and also on the stand, and tiny chips on the front paw area.

White stone has a very pale celadon tinge and some translucency where the carving is thin. The curving shaft terminating in a dragon’s head has a smaller chilong winding its way toward the larger dragon’s head. The underside is carved with a button for attachment. It is well-carved and polished and in very good condition. Acquired 20 years ago in a Richmond, Va. Estate.
