Antique Chinese blue and white porcelain vase. With images of peony flowers and double blue band below the lip and above the foot. The tall cylindrical neck flutes to a rounded body with slightly tapered foot.

The front of the pendant is decorated with 3 figures in a garden, one holding a fan and one holding a parasol. The text on the back of these pendants is usually about protection and good fortune for the wearer.
Dimensions: 7 x 5,5 cm, length of the chain 53 cm. Weight 68 gr.
There are holes on 3 sides of the pendant. There is a hallmark on the top side.
Provenance: Dutch private collection.
The acid test shows a silver content of ca. 90 %.
This type of necklace with a pendant in the shape of a lock was given to Chinese children, so they would be ‘locked’ to life.

A rare pair of carved wooden figures made in China during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). For comparison of costume and facial features we have photographed them alongside a Ming Dynasty Fahua glazed soldier.
Condition: there are extensive losses and most of their original gilding has worn away.

A framed Christian religious painting of Mary with a winged angel bearing the signature and seal mark of Li Tian Duo. This item was painted in China during the either the late Qing or early Republic period.
The early 20th Century frame is age worn but the painting is in excellent condition with no stains or damages.

A circular qingbai porcelain box of compressed drum shape with neatly lobed sides and a slightly concave base. The domed cover has a concave top, which is mould-impressed with small chrysanthemum flowers. Both the exterior and interior of the box and cover are coated in a thin, translucent bluish-white glaze, leaving the rims and base unglazed, exposing the sugary white body, which has some brown and black firing marks...
Chinese Zitan hardwood brush pot hand carved from solid heavy Zitan wood. Dramatic foliate edges and interior are nicely detailed. The zitan shows "gold threading" with the grain of the dark hardwood.

Small statue of Kuan Yin, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, wearing a diadem and formal robes, sitting on a double lotus throne, her right hand in abhaya mudra. Gilt bronze, with fine dark green patina. China, 19th century. Height: 8.8 cm. Gliding partly missing, otherwise every good condition.
Well hollowed shadow agate snuff bottle, of classical shape, with a "tao tie" mask in relief on each shoulder. The stopper is made of coral, turquoise and silver with a felt base. The spoon is made of iron. The piece dates back to the Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Its height: 6.4 cm without stopper. Its total height: 8.2 cm. Excellent condition.
