19th century small Chinese porcelain water dish in fan shape with vertical sides for use in a cricket cage. The inside is painted in underglaze blue with a fish among seaweed. Wonderful quality uninhibited painting, beautiful glaze with tiny bubbles, paste with typical blemishes. Very quiet subtle piece for scholar’s studio. Length 1 9/16 inches.

Neolithic/Bronze Age reddish clay, pottery jar from an unknown culture. I acquired this in a group of Chinese Neolithic pottery pieces but I can’t find any references to this being Chinese. I tend to think this from Thailand or some other Southeast Asian culture. Low fired with very good near invisible restoration. If you know what this is, drop me a line and let me know. 19th century Chinese export napkin ring carved on the outside with a continuous scene of Chinese scholars in different settings. Wonderful work with deep undercutting, beautiful patina, in excellent condition. Carved with a numeral 10 in raised oval reserve. Inside diameter 1 1/2 inches, height 5/8 inches.

Early 19th century (can be as early as 18th) Chinese porcelain snuff saucer in round shape with underglaze blue splash on the top. Roughly made, which has its own charm, wonderful color splash, beautiful patina, in great condition for an old piece. Diameter 1 3/16 inches.
