A Chinese Bronze Censer. Length approximately 11.2 cm (handle to handle). Height approximately 8.5 cm. There are two hairlines at the handle. In good condition.

A very rare Song dynasty celadon Guan type large bowl, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl decorated with raising lotus petal motif at exterior, crackled glaze and covered with grayish green glaze, dark stone ware material.
Bowl is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration.
Size: 20 cm diameter.

A definitely very nice and decorative porcelain jarlet. The glaze silky, the Cobalt blue very nice. Ming Dynasty, Hongzhi period ( 1488 - 1505 ) or even earlier. Diameter : 6,4 cm. H : 5,4 cm. Condition : Perfect.

There are two possibilities. Either this very nice Earthenware Jar with a molded - impressed decoration and glazed with an Sancai glaze is from the Tang Dynasty ( 618 - 906 ) and from Henan or Shaanxi ( Sancai). Or it is a piece from the Liao Dynasty ( 916 - 1125 ) Liaoning ( Sancai )...

DESCRIPTION: A fierce pair of Chinese pottery foo dogs, early Qing, 18th/19th C., covered with a heavy green glaze and seated on pedestals. Each bares its teeth ferociously while holding a ball between their front paws as well as in their mouths. Good detail with finely ribbed backs and curled manes. Very good condition. DIMENSIONS: Each approximately 9 ½” high (24 cm) x 5” wide (12.7 cm).

Small Chinese Ming natural Celadon finished dish with ribbed interior with fluted flange. Excellent condition with natural patina consistent with age.
Celadon is a term for pottery denoting both wares glazed in the jade green celadon color, also known as greenware (the term specialists now tend to use, and a type of transparent glaze, often with small cracks, that was first used on greenware, but later used on other porcelains...

Antique Chinese porcelain bowl of a thin form, with gilt rim and yellow enamel inner rim with peaches and lucky bats. The inside center has a red dragon with gilt accenting. The outer body of the bowl has two colorful powder blue and pink-red dragons flying over waters. The bottom of the bowl is marked Guangxu period (1875-1908). Very small loss on rim. Chinese Thai Market small bowl decorated with flowers on a red trellis ground, the rim bound in metal. 18/19thC. Diameter 11.8 cm. Condition; hairline crack 3.8 cm from rim.

A woven square taken from the front of a Chinese Emperor's robe with a front facing dragon in couched gold and a constellation symbol. Yellow (or apricot yellow) robes could only be worn by the Emperor or Empress. The color has faded and changed to this current tan color. Each Emperor's robe had twelve symbols of Imperial Authority embroidered on it in specific places. We can see "The Constellation" which represents the handles of Ursa Major, the Big Dipper, just above the dragon's head...

A Yuan dynasty longquan celadon large dish, rounded side with raised flat rim and glazed base, dish decorated with carved large flower motif at interior and vertical ribbing suggesting flower petal motif at inner wall, dish covered with green glaze, semi porcelain with nice crackled glaze.
Dish is in good condition, no chip, no crack, no restoration, slightly warp.
Size: 35.5 cm diameter.

 

A matched pair of Chinese paintings of exotic fruits. Body colour on pith surface. Mounted with gold speckled Chinese papers and framed beneath rigid plastic sheet. E ach 39x26 cm. hanging ring on reverse, ready to hang. Excellent colour, a few chips to corners and edges of sheet. Undated, estimated to be mid 19th century. Can be viewed in central London and shipped worldwide.

DESCRIPTION: A large Qing Dynasty artist’s calligraphy brush fashioned from wood and carved in a naturalistic design. The long black bristles are attached to a bulbous ferrule with the handle carved in a design reminiscent of bamboo leaves. This is a substantial, sturdy brush that shows usage wear and minor splitting on the handle. DIMENSIONS: 17 ¼” long (43.8 cm).

Antique Chinese jadeite carving of a smiling, robed man with a small child climbing onto his shoulders. The child holds onto pierced carving branches for support. The jade is of a grey-green tone with mossy green tones where various stacked objects have been carved. Size: 2.25" height, 1.25" width
