A rare southern Song dynasty longquan celadon bulb cup, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, cup covered with nice bluish green glaze, brown color rim.

A porcelain box and cover of circular form, the slightly domed cover mould stamped and sculpted with a spray of flowers within a foliate rim, with an pale blue (Qingbai) glaze. Southern Song Dynasty. Museum quality, because there was a bowl with a quite similar decoration in the Percival David Foundation which is now in the collection of the British Museum. ( please have a look at the last image ) Very fragile potted, a amazing Cobalt blue. Ming Dynasty Jiajing Period ( 1522 - 1566 ) Diameter : 6,6 cm. H : 4,3 cm. Condition : Chipped, very fine short hairline that however nothing changes in the fact, that this is a amazing piece.

Never before offered anywhere, is this extremely rare zitan treasure shelf. These were a favorite of any good scholar who would place his small objects of miniature toggles, snuff bottles, jades, etc. The design is simple, streamlined and clean; which is a feature of the late 18th to early 19th. Often zitan lacked excessive carving, due its natural beauty which never required a coat of lacquer. A rare Northern Song white glaze ewer with qilin design cover, rounded side with curved handle and up rising spout, ewer decorated with carved flower design at the shoulder, belly and shoulder with vertical ribbing / lines, and rising leaf petal motif near the base, the cover with qilin / foo dog motif.
Ewer is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, tip of the spout polish.
