This is a superb handcrafted late 19th Century Japanese silver teapot constructed with thick silver guage & high relief with an embossed dragon around the body...

A refined Japanese square porcelain vase decorated with grape vines, chrysanthemums, and other auspicious motifs. The images used are inspired from designs from Momoyama period works of art. The use of different colors with gold is often known as kinrande. Age: 19th century Size: length 4.75" width 4.75" Height 11.5"

A Japanese totai ceramic plate with butterflies on a turquoise ground. Signed on bottom Kinkozan and in very good condition without any damage, no hairlines, no chips, it measures 7.25 inches diameter. Meiji Era. We have a 2nd plate in same butterfly pattern available.

This is a truly rare and fabulous Satsuma Vase. It was made for the Japanese Imperial family. It has been in a private collection for decades. On one side all the blossoming flowers have raised relief enamel work. The gold detailing on this vase is as fine as we have ever seen. Unique glossy deep green ground on each panel. The blue Interspersed among this gilt decoration are the Imperial 16 petal Chrysanthemums and Kiri Mons. The footed base also exquisitely decorated heavily in gilt designs...

Kano school painitng of wild horses resting by water enjoying the spring scene. Painted with ink and light pigments on paper. Decorated with gold speckles. The painting is in reasonable condition with some marks, foxes and creases present due to its great age. There are some marks on the mounting. This painting is specially priced for celebrating Chinese new year (year of horse).

This cast bronze incense burner is an early 20th century product. It is 6 ½” high (with carved hardwood base is 9 ¾” high) and 9 ¼” in diameter. Two bands of archaistic designs surround the upper half of the body. The lower half contains four floral designs which are repeated in relief on the cover of the vessel. It is in great condition.

This is a small unusual Japanese Porcelain vase. It has is a textured totai like ground with moriage flowers and leaves. The plant appears to be a water lily. The vase stands 3 1/4 inches tall and in 3 inches wide. It is in excellent condition. The vase is signed Bizan Zo.

An antique Japanese Wood Buddhist altar fitting known as a keman. The hand fan like shape were thought to have originated from flower garland offerings seen in India. The keman is decorated with motifs of lotuses with two apsaras. The top of the keman has the crest of the Tokugawa family. Age: Edo Period 17/18th century, Size: Length 25" Height 9.5" Width 1.5"

Samurai Helmet depicted respectfully displayed on the stand. Painted on silk with ink and kindei, which is gold pigments. The kabuto was an important part of the equipment of the samurai, and played a symbolic role as well, which may explain the Japanese expressions, sayings and codes related to them. Charming rustic Japanese antique jizai hook for heating water over a fire, made of keyaki (elm) wood and carved in the shape of a fish, beautiful wood grain with a deep patina from years of use, an iron hook is attached to the tail, a rope or chain would have threaded through a vertical hole from head to mouth, Edo Period (early to mid 19th century). Total size: 15" long x 6 1/2" high (fish is 4" high)

This was made in Amagi area in the Meiji era. This cotton was spun by hand. This Shibori was dyed with an indigo plant of nature. It is a swallow and a rainy image.In the small ring of Mame-ire Shibori, size delicately changes for handwork. And the vertical stripe has little rolling. It is a good point and fun of the handwork. Whimsical antique Japanese netsuke of two octopi in embrace, carved in beautiful cherry amber with lots of little details. The Japanese would wear small stacked containers called inro from their belts or sash. Inro boxes were held together by a long cord running down its sides that looped at the top, held together by a netsuke bead and an ojime bead. The cord would run through the two holes featured on this netsuke. 19th century Size: 1.5" tall x 1.5" wide

Height approximately 34.5 cm (including the stand). A soft dent at the rim. A soft dent at the body. In good condition.

Beautifully rendered Japanese Edo Age Bronze incensor of two playful wrestling Fu Dogs. Great attention to detail, with a stunning original natural patina, consistant with age.

Antique Japanese Noh mask of the O-beshimi fierce deity, or mythical tengu. "Beshimi" means "mouth clamped shut". This mask is hand-carved from kiri wood, and inside you can see the chisel marks left behind by the artist. There are visible traces of white gesso in the crevices of the face, which was used as a filler to cover the wood grain. Edo period, 19th century Size: 9.5" tall, 7" wide
