A rare Japanese porcelain water dropper in the form of a cat. The cat is covered in an overall Pink glaze. The dropper measures about 2 3/4" long x 2" high, and is in perfect condition. 19th century Japanese bronze tea ceremony hibashi (long metal chopsticks for handling charcoal in hibachi brazier) with finials in a form of heads of the Fungus of Immortality. These hibashi are for use in the summer time (winter ones have top half covered in wood). Finely made of bronze with high copper contents, beautiful casting and chiseling of the fungus, embossed areas at the working end for better handling of charcoals. Superb patina, beautiful wear, pleasantly heavy. Length 11 inches.

18th century small Indian bronze votive sculpture depicting Shridevi - a form of Lakshmi, the consort of Lord Vishnu. She is holding an open lotus in her left hand. Very nice casting - see her graciously bent figure, beautiful warm brown patina, high devotional wear with traces of sandalwood powder in crevices, overall in great condition for a votive piece. Height 2 3/8 inches.

19th century/Meiji period Japanese pottery kogo (box for incense during tea ceremony) in a form of a seated rooster. Wonderful potting with great facial expression and well delineated feathers, beautiful crackled glaze, red and black enamels. Bottom shows the seal of the potter. Wonderful piece in Japanese taste. Length 2 5/16 inches. Part of a small East Coast kogo collection.

Finely cast small statue of Hindu Goddess Annapurna, sitting cross-legged on an elevated throne, holding the ritual spoon in both hands. Bronze, with reddish and green patina. India, 17th century, maybe earlier. Height: 4.3 cm. Abrasion due to great age, otherwise good condition.

A very atractive bronze seal ring with two confronting figures, probably angels, standing, Late Roman-Byzantine, 4th.-6th. century AD.

A nice lot of three Early Byzantine bronze weights, dating to the early Byzantine period, later 1st. millenium BC.
