A small Chinese Export saucer, Yongzheng or early Qianlong, first part of the 18th century. Brown "Batavia" glaze with reserves of enameled flower panels in Famille Verte colours and gilt. Diameter "4 ¾/ 12 cm. Condition: two hairlines and a rim chip visible from the back.
A Chinese Export saucer bowl, Qianlong c 1740. Enamelled in Famille Rose colours with peony and other flowers, the exterior with creamy Capucine or chocolate-coloured “Batavia” glaze. Diameter "5 ¼/ 13,5 cm, height "1¼/ 3 cm. Condition: firing crack to the back, otherwise fine.

Early 1900 Japanese silk fukusa featuring a turtle and a crane. Techniques used to create this wonderful fukusa are sumi-e hand painting, yuzen resist dying, some embroidery, and gold foil couching. On the reverse is red rinzu silk with crane and mons motif. Two original tassels are still intact at the bottom. There is a small cluster of tiny gray spots by the crane, see last photo. Otherwise, in very good condition/excellent, it measures 25” wide x 27” high.
A Chinese Export coffee cup with European style decoration of flower sprigs within a stylized wreath in green, black and gilt. Qianlong, c 1750. Height "2¾/ 7 cm. Condition: a few stress cracks to the glaze visible from the inside.
Chinese 18th c plate, Kangxi to early Qianlong. Decoration in under-glaze blue of a flower basket surrounded by a diaper and scrollwork wreath. There is a European touch to the design of the wreath. Brown-glazed rim. Diameter "9/ 23 cm. Condition: wear to the well, otherwise fine.

Small and lovely figurine of Guanyin, the Buddhist goddess of Mercy, late 19th – early 20th century. Creamy white glaze over finely modelled details. The goddess is seen seated with a joss stick bowl to her left. Incised Chinese signature to the inside. Height: "6 ¾/ 17,5 cm. Condition: the left hand should be holding a sceptre, now missing, plus small damage to fingers of right hand.
This is a Japanese fukusa, a gift cover with the design of the “Eight Views of Omi”. In the beginning of the 16th century, eight scenic spots in Omi (Shiga, Japan) were selected by closely following the Chinese “The Eight Views of the Xiao and Xiang Rivers”...
