An antique Japanese merchant chest called Choba Tsukue made of Keyaki (Zelkova) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. Two drawers used for the storage of an inkstone and brushes as well as paper for writing transaction records and receipts. The drawer interiors have minor ink stains which is a testament to its usage and function.

Antique pair of small Inari Shinto shrine foxes carved of wood. Originally painted, these foxes have acquired a deep, dark over many years. Also called Zenko, these good spirit Kitsune (foxes) are specifically associated with the Goddess, Inari.
Believed to be both messengers and guardians, Kitsune serve Inari in her role as the Goddess of agriculture, specifically rice. Part of the folklore surrounding the fox is it's ability to shape shift into a human form...

Luxurious and heavy Korean Amamori (leaking rain) Incense Burner Kōro from Edo period.

The irregular shape and the base resemble Japanese Wabi Sabi tea bowls which tells that this piece was made specifically for Japanese market.

Amamori means the surface stained with spots that look like rain leaks on a wall creating beautiful complex scenery.

Japanese mixed wood heavy weight Cyprus, Cedar and Pine wood two(2) section Tansu, chest on chest, Ca. Meiji period, 19th C., 42" high, 34" wide, 17" deep, with original reddish brown finish with heavy black iron round back plates and handles. Upper section with two(2) long graduated size drawers above one(1) long and one(1) short graduated size drawers next to two(2) small drawers on the right side bottom...

A Chinese bronze slender pear-shaped vase unusually cast in high relief with two guei dragons, each with long double-ended tail, one reaching the base, the other the rim. 31 cms, late Ming dynasty, 16th/17th century. A couple of shallow knocks to the underside. Otherwise good condition.

An very nice earthenware bowl with incised decorations withfloral petals in the center. Beige/white underglaze with green and brown decorative colors in splash design. Bamiyan, c. 12th. century.

This is a traditional Chinese pack saddle which were used throughout China for carrying various sacks of grains and goods. The front is carved foo dogs and there is a key carved decoration around the border. It is unusual to find this type saddle with the painted black lacquered finish. This one was probably owned by a wealthy family and used only for special events...

Greek terracotta figurine portraying a nursing woman. Such a depiction is considered a kourotrophor: a protector or nurturer of children. She is wearing a chiton and a veil and she is nurcing a naked boy. Likely Etruscan or Sicilian, ca. 6th-5th. century BC.

Size: c. 16 cm. tall and 8 cm. deep.

Condition: Choice and intact still with most of it's pigment preserved.

Porcelain covered with green glaze to the foot with incised floral scroll and clasic scroll, unglazed concave base. PERIOD : Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 8 cm wide, 7.5 cm tall. CONDITION : frittings the base, no cracks, hairlines and free from restoration.

Extre,Rare/Fine Korean Goryeo(高麗) Black/Celadon Glazed Finished Oil Bottle-12/13th C.: Korea, Goryeo(高麗) dynasty, 12th/13th century. The well potted and flattened globular form with ring foot and narrow neck with cup-shape mouth, decorated in brownish dark glazed body evenly, finished with a pale celadon glaze. It’s in very good condition without any damages. It measures 6.2cm h. x 10cm d.

I am not familiar with Japanese porcelain, and so I cannot date this nice piece, but with a magnifying glass it it possible, to see all all the fine scratches on the surface of the dish, which is a sign, that this dish is old. Very nice condition. D : 14,9 cm.

Hand painted brush and ink Chinese painting, classically mounted on a scroll, depicting Bamboo and Rocks with apocryphal attribution to Zheng Xie鄭燮 This is a homage, painted in the 20th century, and is of an impressive size H: 165cm/64in and W: 68cm/24in. Mounted dimensions L: 2.4m/94in and W: 83cm/32.5in.

A nice saucer dish with overglaze enamel green and red of lotus. original color is rare, no any repainting. Ming dynasty 16th century, Hongzhi period. Condition is good, no any crack, free from any restoration excepted chip to the unglazed foot rim. Diameter: 16 cm.

Length/width approximately 13.3 cm (across the handles). Few soft dents at censer. In good condition.
