A Junyao bulb bowl was applied with charming blue glaze.
Well preserved in perfect condition, the bowl obtained the enduring old characteristics on the surface and at the foot ring.

A yellow-glazed censer was in archaic Ding shape.
Being applied on the surface with drum-nails and archaic ram masks for decoration, the pottery censer was stand by three squeezed lion's feet.
The tint of the glaze was in beige yellow when the body clay revealed inside the censer was in beige grayish.
It was in perfect condition with minute frets and crackles which also verified it's old age.

We have recently been lucky enough to have acquired a collection of very rare examples of burnished black pottery items made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Such items are relatively unknown and very little has been published about them. They are found in the northern provinces, particularly Gansu province in the north-west.

Despite the characteristic and beautiful hares-fur or oil-spots markings we've usually seen in Jianyang bowls, radiating russet markings can be a very rare type.

A white-glazed incense burner was mold in stem foot.
Wheel-turned in flat circular rim and with trumpet foot, this porcelain ware was in form of the characteristic metal counterpart of the dated periods or earlier.
It was in perfect condition with only one minute dent on the rim. It was caused before glazing.

A Jianyang tea bowl was applied with rarely-seen white slip.
Nicknamed as "Butter Bowl" by local collecters by it's yellowish white tint, the bowl was revealed with black-tinted body clay at the bottom.
It was preserved very well when all the necessary characteristics were owned for authentication.

By retrospective celadon tint, the jarlet was yielded on the surface with enduring old crackles in the glaze.

A pair of Jizhou jars was intriguingly molded in imitation of two woven bamboo boxes.
By typical characteristics of sticking-rice-like body clay which revealed at the lower portion of the boxes and the flat foot rings, the ware’s glaze was kept in very good condition.
On the surface, clear and crispy patterns were beautifully defined. Hand-crafted knobs were skillfully added on the top of the caps.

It was a rare type of this kind in Jiangyang wares.
Enduring old crackles were yielded naturally in the glaze when retrospective sheen was reflected on the surface.

A crouching Bixie was carved from a pebble of black steatite.
Depicted with protruding eyes, back thrown ears and the broom-like tail, the fairy beast was treated by affluent and sleek carving lines.
An animated form was then vividly rendered. All these were the characteristics for the carvings from Yuan dynasty or earlier periods.
It was kept with very nice patina when some old defects were found. They were caused from the enduring age.

By an elegant elm bowl’s shape, the pot was applied on the surface with black slip when bluish white splashes were decorated intriguingly on top across the mouth rim.

This impressive dish was made during the mid 15th century. It is "heavily-potted" and attractively decorated in underglaze cobalt of deep blue, the upper surface decorated with a central blossom surrounded by floral patterns, whilst the outer wall is decorated with lotus leaf patterns. The clear glaze is finely-crackled in places. The recessed flat base is coated in a thin chocolate-brown wash.

Being applied with characteristic celadon glaze, the ewer was exquisitely mold in a typical shape of a handled ewer pot.
The ewer stands by a well shaped foot ring which the revealed body clay was in pale gray tint when the charming firing-red was obviously developed.

This extremely rare (unique?) porcelain wine cup was made during the 12th - 14th Century (Song - Yuan Dynasty). The inner surface is coated in a finely-crackled pale olive-green celadon or qingbai type of glaze. This attractively-shaped monochrome glazed porcelain bowl with flared rim was made during the 13th / 14th Century (Late Song - Yuan Dynasty). It is coated in a glossy finely-crackled transparent pale greenish-blue qingbai glaze save for the inner surface of the small foot that remains unglazed.
