The name of Kyotos Sueharu is synonymous with seihakuji celadon. He has been displayed numerous times at the prestigious Nitten, Nihon Togei Ten (National Japanese Ceramic Exhibition) and Nihon Gendai Kogei Ten (National Japanese Modern Crafts Exhibition) among others. He is held in the Yale University Museum among others. Robust and rare mizusashi by veteran and highly important potter, Morino Taimei. Using two glazes, green enamel and silver overglaze this mizusashi is a classic example of Morino's work and a wonderful modern tea piece.

This mizusashi measures 20 x 16.5 cm and is in perfect condition with its original signed wood box and is clearly stamped on the base.

Here is a fine example of LNT Tokuda Yasokichi III covered in vivid colors ranging from white to black and with his coveted bule enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Tsubo and signed Yasokichi.Staring into this surface is like seeing the complexity of colors forming water ripples on an impressionist painting.  There is something very natural and unfiltered which captures the imagination.
