A vintage modernist 830 silver pendant by the noted silversmith from Norway, A. K. Pettersen whose work is signed with a stylized AKP.

Made of 830 silver, which was widely used as a silver standard in Scandinavian countries, this pendant measures 1 1/2" across and 3 3/4" long including the fringe. Has what appears to be the original 23" chain. The pendant has four dangles for lots of movement.

A lobed, openwork pendant suspended from a v-shaped, flexible neck ring. The neck ring is dated 1975, and bears the city mark for Koeping; the maker’s mark of BFH is unidentified. The pendant is dated 1971, and bears the maker’s mark of Alton, the city mark for Falköping, and the mark of designer Theresia Hvorslev. The widest resting point of the neck ring measures a little over 4 ½ inches; the pendant measures 1 7/8 inches long. Weight of pendant: 8.4 grams...

This pin has heft and presence, with a compelling design by Uni David-Andersen for the David-Andersen workshop. It resembles lattice work in its construction, but the irregular lengths of the ribs give it a primitive feel. The pin has a secure roll-over clasp and measures 2 inches long by 5/8 inches wide. A vintage modernist sterling silver ring from Finland by Pekka Piekainen for Auran Kultaseppa Oy. Wave design. Thick, solid silver. Measures almost 1 1/4" across the top.

Marked for Auran Kultaseppa Oy, Finland silver standard, 925, Town mark for Turku, and U7 for 1973 on the bottom of one edge. Also marked with the maker's mark and Finland on the opposite side. About a size 6.5.

In very nice condition with minor surface scratches and some tiny nicks along the edges...

Designed by Karin Pedersen for JemAx of Denmark, this sterling silver vermeil and white enamel brooch is such a great example of Scandinavian minimalist / modernist design from the 1960s and 1970s. I love the pearlescence of the white here and the way its translucence brings out the guilloche motifs in the silver underneath.
