An classic pair of French 18K yellow gold baton cufflinks with a most unusual mechanical snap mechanism. The batons have reeded surfaces with plain inset bands at either end. When one of the plain bands is pushed in, a hidden spring mechanism releases the face from its mate. Snap cufflinks were uncommon in France, and this is the first pair we've seen combining the snap with a mechanical action...

Two matching sumptuously long necklaces of unusual chain which is made of dark brass tone French filigree balls enclosing a "lamp cord" type of linked chain. The clasps are two different metals. Circa 1940s or possibly later. Each is 60 inches long and 1/4 inch or 5mm wide. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Signed EA DAY, Sterling at the bottom of the pendant. Has some tarnish. Nice weight and high quality. Very unique design.

A very fine, beautiful Art Nouveau gold brooch featuring a row of three kittens sitting on a diamond-studded platform. The kittens are finely cast with excellent attention to detail. The cat at the far right appears to be licking his neighbor while the one of the opposite end seems completely aloof from the proceedings. The bar supporting the cats is topped with silver in the traditional style of French Art Nouveau jewelry and is set with antique cushion-cut diamonds of very nice quality...

This mid-century bracelet from Los Ballesteros is a book-piece design, shown in "Warman's Jewelry" by Christie Romero. Certainly one of the most sought after designs from Los Ballesteros, this is a stand-out showpiece. It's large and heavy and supremely gorgeous, with colorful faceted stones in vivid hues alternating between incised stars. Closed, wearable length is 6 3/4", with a width of 1 11/16". Weight is a very substantial 140.9 grams, or over 4.5 troy ounces. Collector quality.

A cast rectangular top decorated with what look like applied and incised stylized scrollwork; the surface is textured and is unevenly oxidized. The sides exhibit clamp-like elements and the band shoulders bear engraved geometric designs. The band is flattened, and on the inside is marked with the German crown and moon, 800, and what looks like a worn maker’s mark. The style looks like transitional art deco/art modern; the ring is dated conservatively. It is sized at a 7. Weight: 5.9 grams

A Victorian gold filled photo locket on a fancy rolled gold plate chain necklace from the 1870s 1880s. This necklace is unusual in that it is gold filled and not the typical sterling silver and it features yellow gold plate and a strip of fancy bordered rose gold plate setting off the design...

An outstanding pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the oval faces set with black harlequin opals (probably doublets) of exceptional quality in simple millegrain borders. The simplicity of the setting allows the opals to display their superb play-of-color. Virtually every color of the spectrum is visible in the opals, but with a preponderance of red, orange, green and violet...

This pendant was constructed by a studio jeweler in the Brutalist style. It is composed of a rounded plaque with organic, coral-like protrusions applied to an oxidized surface. The tip of one branch is set with a white sapphire. The bail is very sturdy; the back shows a distinctive but unidentified maker’s mark. The pendant measures a little over 1 ½ inches long (the bail adds another 1/4 inch) and 1 ½ inches at its widest point. It comes with a vintage 20-inch sterling snake chain...

This decorative bracelet and/or pendant measures 7" long. It has a very decorative purse that "snaps" opens. The purse measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" X 1/2". Each side is adorned with a green cabochon. This bracelet and charm is in excellent condition.

Ca 1970 An exceptionally heavy and well made gold plate necklace with matching clip-on earrings. The necklace with extension measures 22" x 1-1/4"; the earrings are 1-1/8" x 1-1/4". Both earrings and necklace are signed.

Spratling designed this lovely work of art in the 1940's. The sterling silver basket holds 3 hand carved chalcedony stone flowers in varying shades of color. The brooch measures 2 7/8" across X 2 1/2" high & weighs 47 grams. The pin is in beautiful condition & fully hallmarked for Spratling on the reverse. This CoroCraft sterling blue hook billed bird of paradise brooch is gold plated sterling with rhinestones and wonderfull enameling. It is hallmarked CoroCraft sterling with Pegasus.
