A very fine 18K yellow gold fob charm set with coral cameos. The faces are similar to comedy and tragedy masks, with one frowning, one smiling and one somewhere in between. The cameos are very nicely carved and have the strong coloration typical of Mediterranean coral from the Italian coast. The gold surfaces are ornately decorated with beading and twisted wirework. This fine pin, with its deep, dark yellow, palmate leaves is by Norwegian silversmith Bernard Meldah. It is sterling vermeil with basse-taille enamel and measures 1 3/4” x 1 3/4”. It has a C-catch and is marked “925 S STERLING” “MB” (superimposed, Meldah’s maker’s mark) and “MADE IN NORWAY.” This piece is in excellent condition.

Absolutely stunning very big Danish sterling silver modernist vintage 1960s statement size ring with luminous blue green abalone shell inlay, by Danish jewelry maker Arne Johansen. An attractive vintage Venetian Etruscan Revival fob charm worked in 18K yellow gold. The charm is set along the edges with alternating round amethysts and citrines. The center of one face is set with an amethyst and the other with a citrine. Exposed gold surfaces are intricately enhanced with rosettes and twisted wire decoration.
