Rare, rare, rare and absolutely without equal when it comes to enamel work! This sterling silver pin measures approx 1 7/8 inches, is hallmarked on the back, attributed to either David Andersen or Ivar Holt (can't totally read the maker's mark), pin in perfect working order. Vibrant shade of turquoise enamel all in perfect condition.
A vintage sterling silver modernist ring by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Reminds us of an abstract spiderweb. Measures about a size 7 but is adjustble. Top measures 1 1/8" wide and 1 1/4" high. Marked with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925H for sterling, Town mark for Turku and T7 for 1972. Very nice condition. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.
An elegant pair of 18K yellow gold Art Nouveau cufflinks set with rose and single cut diamonds. The cufflinks have a classic design of whiplash curves typical of Art Nouveau jewelry. A dazzling cherry red and sparkling white crystal and paste Art Deco coat or dress clip c1920. The beautiful quality brilliant cherry red unfoiled cut glass stones and the centre white round antique cut rhinestone are riveted (they spin) onto the delicate brass filigree back. The colour is deeper and more sparkling than they appear in our unfortunate pictures... There is a a two spike coat clip behind this, and it measures 1 13/16" across...
Fabulous & fun sterling silver bracelent by MATTI J HYVARINEN for Finnish company SIROKORU. Measures 7 1/2" long x 1" wide. The blue gemstone spheres move freely inside channels, giving the piece incredible kinetic motion. Fully hallmarked, with date stamp V7 for 1974. Excellent vintage condition.
This Juliana faux emerald & rhinestone necklace is one of the most superior designs from D & E., in my opinion. This necklace is circa 1964. The rest of the stones are clear rhinestones.
Undoubtedly the result of artistic cross-pollination this vintage Mexican silver neck ring pendant necklace emits an intense Scandinavian vibe . Evocative of Danish modernist jewelry, it is not just the shapes that refer to it but also the choice of sodalite cabochons to accompany the warmly glowing silver. Slick, elegant, versatile - a combination which still speaks to our modern eye even though created almost a century ago...
Circa late 1950 to early 1952, this necklace is shown on the Spratling Silver website. Noted to be a larger, more square version of the North Star necklace, it's a very rare piece from William Spratling produced by Conquistador. From his second design period, inspired by his Alaskan period. It's a book-piece design shown in "William Spratling and the Mexican Silver Renaissance", p...
Purchased in Peru during the 70's, an ornate filigree chain that measures 68". No clasp.
Absolutely stunning on with a length of 7 inches and a weight of a solid 68 grams. Hallmark correctly shown for Antonio Pineda. The presence is sleek at just under 1 inch. Each moonstone is framed with two caviar balls. The moonstones glow a beautiful blue and there is no damage or repairs. There is some patina but not heavy leaving to buyer to decide for their own personal taste. Clasp is tight and closes with a click. An excellent example from the Mexican Silver Renaissance.
A white gold ring with seven brilliant cut diamonds. The fiery stones are VS-SI and the ring is marked 14k. Size 5.25 ~2.2 grams.
A gorgeous enameled pansy, worked in several shades of purple and lavender is featured in this ring converted from a Victorian earring. The enamel has a soft velvety appearance and is accented at the center with a small pearl. The pansy is set on a sturdy 14K gold split shank...
A large Etruscan style 18K gold fob/charm/pendant set with large dark blue topaz. We’ve never seen one of these charms set with deep blue gemstones before. The gold surfaces are covered in ornate bead and twisted wire decoration. The pendant opens in the middle to reveal a secret compartment. The bail is stamped for 18K gold and also has French import marks.
