Marked Handmade, Sterling, Denmark, Bent K, and Style #2 on the back of each piece. Brooch measures 2 3/4" long and almost 3/4" across. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. In the years I have been buying and selling vintage Mexican silver jewelry I have seen many "mask" pieces - this is, after all, one of the "pillars" in the genre's design index and I am also very partial to it and always on the look out for good examples. I have to also admit that seeing jewelry of a certain kind over and over again makes one a little more blasé and hence, more difficult to impress. Yet impressed I was with this astounding combination pin / pendant I am presenting here...

Simple and elegant, this 14k yellow gold ring is adorned with two Old Mine Cut diamonds. The larger of the two measures approximately .30 ct and grades approximately G color and VS2 on the GIA grading scale. The smaller of the two diamonds measures approximately .20 ct and is well matched to the other at G color and SI1 clarity. The bezel settings around the diamonds are white gold. It is in excellent condition and is currently a size 7.75. The diamonds are bright and sparkle very well...

This Georg Jensen circle pin features a deeply molded twisted rope design that continues all the way around. The design is enhanced with simple, scored rectangular elements at the halfway points. The secure rollover clasp is also sterling and original to the pin. The back is marked with the Jensen and sterling marks, the design number of 254, and Denmark. The pin measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Weight: 9.7 grams

A 14k gold genuine coral ring circa 1940s 1950. This vintage yellow gold size 5 ring features a claw-set loaf-shaped natural coral stone. I thas an elegant industrial modern lines, and measures 11/16" x 9/16" across the top / upper section. It is stamped JIC and 14K and weighs 4.8 grams. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but the coral is just very slightly wiggly...

This vintage set is made of 950 silver. The brooch measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". It has a nice, engraved scene (as do the earrings). The brooch has a trombone closure and is marked SILVER 950. The matching earrings are screw backs and marked SILVER 950, as well. The top of the screw backs are marked SILVER with a hallmark of an A. The Suite weighs 1/2 ounce and is circa 1940s-1960s.

A funky Scandinavian modern sterling silver pendant by Jergen Jensen of Denmark circa 1970s. This 1-1/16" x 1" anvil- or anchor-shaped pendant has a nice incised design. It is in excellent and appears to have not been worn - it is old store stock and still has the original foil tag. It is stamped JJ S 925 S. A large pair of 18K yellow gold Sputnik earrings by H Stern. The domes are bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, peridots, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and garnets. The Sputnik design was created in the 1950’s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It later came to be called “Sputnik” for its resemblance to the spiky Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

An important, rare modernist bracelet by the renowned African American jeweler, Art Smith. Made of woven, riveted and patinated copper.

Measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" wide. Marked with the 'Art Smith' script signature in at least two places. Looks like there is also a third partial strike. Very good condition with some minor surface scratches and areas of tarnish.

A lovely double-sided 18K yellow gold crystal “porte-photo” (photo carrier), the gold rim elegantly decorated with a bound reed design in the Louis XVI style. The crystal covers are faceted in a star design on both sides. The locket is cleverly constructed with a hidden screw mechanism that allows the gold frame to expand so the crystal covers can be removed for adding or changing the contents...

This rare find features a colorful Parrot. It measures 2" tall x 1". It features a stained glass style of a Parrot on its stoop. It is marked MEXICO with the Alia maker's mark. It is in excellent condition.

A wonderful, textural, sculptural sterling bracelet designed by Knud V. Andersen for Anton Michelsen, Denmark, circa 1960. The unique texture resembles that of a tree bark. It measures 8" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. Weighing an impressive 105 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. The pin closure is secure and there is also a safety lock. A terrific piece of mid-century Scandinavian jewelry.

Here is a stunning pale yellow faceted citrine ring. A pierced gold setting highlights the stone. There is a tiny nick/chip on the edge of the girdle facet adjacent a prong but it is hardly noticeable (photos are enlarged). Marked 14k, the ring is a size 4.25 and the stone measures 16mm x 22mm x 10mm. Light wear.
