Circa 1930's-early 1940's, this magnificent amethyst ring is the work of Abraham Paz. Paz produced and designed work for himself, as well as for Fred Davis. This is a gorgeous piece, with a huge hand cut and polished amethyst and deco sterling silver setting. The face of the ring measures 1 1/16" x 13/16", and sits 7/16" high above the finger. A handsome pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks by Tiffany & Co. Each rectangular face is bead-set at one end with a round brilliant cut blue sapphire. Engraved lines emanate from the gemstones in a sunburst pattern. The sapphires are a medium dark strongly saturated blue in color and contrast nicely with the bright gold. A handsome pair of 14K gold double-sided cufflinks, the faces set with dark green jasper plaques. The gold has a soft “bloom” sometimes seen on jewels from the late 19th century. The jasper plaques are deeply colored, appearing nearly black except in bright light when the green comes through. Tested and guaranteed 14K.

Circa pre-1960, this necklace produced by Matilde Poulat has a generous length of 23", with a 3 1/4" wide center. There are amethyst stations on each side, with double chains continuing up the neck. The palomas sit next to a vase with turquoise flowers. Length on the center is 2 1/2".

Weight is a substantial 91.1 grams.

Signed and hallmarked "Matl Mexico 925 Patente 10966", along with the eagle assay 129.

We are offering a signed Margot de Taxco bracelet design # 5240 that is big, bold and with great dimension. The heavy bracelet weighing 92 grams is a cornucopia of wings with a myriad of tiny bead work all around silver cabochons. Being 1.5 inches tall the width takes away from the wearable length so being 8in. long will fit most. The silver is butter soft and it is amazing that this bracelet is without flaws.
