Composed of cast rectangular double links, this classy bracelet from the 1960s-1970s is sturdy and well made with completely soldered connecting bars. Beautifully aged sterling silver and warmly glowing copper combine effortlessly in this Los Castillo chevron brooch. I am very partial to the mixed metals jewelry that came out of Taxco and the renowned workshop excelled in their production. This Georg Jensen circle pin features a deeply molded twisted rope design that continues all the way around. The design is enhanced with simple, scored rectangular elements at the halfway points. The secure rollover clasp is also sterling and original to the pin. The back is marked with the Jensen and sterling marks, the design number of 254, and Denmark. The pin measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Weight: 9.7 grams

An interesting pair of Sterling Silver artist made dangle clip earrings with 18K gold detailing. There are alternating cubes of sterling and flag shaped dangles. The dangles have 18K gold on the front.

Lovely sterling silver brooch worked in soft white guilloche enamel and featuring a painted enamel bouquet of blue gentians. The workmanship is very fine. The back is marked "S925S" and retains the original c-clasp which indicates an early date.

This bracelet consists of 6 hinged links, each slightly convex. Each has a lovely, filigree design with a decorative border in which the turquoise blue, Egyptian, faience scarabs are set. The bracelet is silver gilt and measures 7 3/8" long x 3/4". The hinge is very interesting. It is a trombone type.

A hand-assembled chain necklace composed of tiger’s eye beads and silver rope chain, beads and cylinders. The tiger’s eye beads are secured by wound wire links; the other elements are connected by securely soldered rings. The spring-ring clasp is in good working order and is original to the piece. It is a very solidly made piece. It is unmarked, but all main metal elements test strongly for silver. Doubled, the chain measures 17.5 inches.

This substantial sterling silver bangle bracelet features a classic mid-century modernist design of an oblong shape with two flattened sides. The sides, however, are thicker and a little more rounded than the more common interpretation. It is marked inside with the Mexico Eagle 1 and the maker’s initials of ESM. The surface exhibits a nicely aged patina, with a hint of tarnish. Inner dimensions are 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/8 inches. Weight: 33.2 grams

Very large hand made modernist sterling snake ring by Novak, c.1970's. This ring is part of a one-of-a-kind collection by Novak, a modernist silversmith with original concepts and wonderful execution. A gold plate crystal and pearl necklace marked SAL for Swarovski. Length 18"

This elaborately worked bracelet, done by hand, was made by Maciel Silver Factory of Mexico, c.1950’s. It is marked “925/1000," "MACIEL" (maker's mark), "STERLING MADE IN MEXICO” (see pictures). The central, convex, Aztec god oval measures 1 3/4” x 1 1/4” while the cuff with the eagle warrior masks measures 1 3/8”. This piece is in excellent condition.

An attractive pair of gilt 800 silver double-faced cufflinks. The round faces are simply decorated with concentric rings bordering central gilt reserves. The faces are joined with the hinge bridge connectors more often seen in Scandinavian designs. The connectors are marked “800” and have an unidentified maker’s mark “EP” in a diamond-shaped punch.

Alovely Brooch by the famous Taxco Silver Artist Hector Aguilar features two stylized flower blossoms along with a curved leaf on curving stems. Crafted in Aguilars favored 940 silver which give the silver a lovely rich patina. It measures 3" wide by 3 1/2" long and weigh 18.6 grams. Hallmarked Taxco, HA, 940. Light age related wear and tarnish a secure pin clasp. A lovely piece.

Reminiscent of Scandinavian style, this bracelet features lovely openwork panels molded with graceful calla lilies. The panels are securely linked with ribbed sterling bands; the back of one panel bears an applied plaque with a patent number of 121373, which was granted in 1940 to Victor Primavera, who founded Danecraft.
