Signed with the conjoined HA, Taxco and 940 for better than sterling silver. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).

Measures 3 1/2" across and 3 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The brooch has some minor tarnish and surface scratches.

A brutalist, modernist sterling silver pendant by the Swedish jeweler, Isaac Cohen. Marked on the bale with ICO for the maker, another mark that is hard to read, and V9 for 1971. Measures about 2 1/2" long including the bale and 1 1/4" wide. Large bale so will accommodate a thick chain or neck ring. Fine condition, quality piece.

A handsome pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks by Tiffany & Co. Each rectangular face is bead-set at one end with a round brilliant cut blue sapphire. Engraved lines emanate from the gemstones in a sunburst pattern. The sapphires are a medium dark strongly saturated blue in color and contrast nicely with the bright gold. The backs are marked “14K” and “Tiffany & Co.”.

This gorgeously fluid design by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda measures 6 7/8" wearable length and 3/4" wide. The bracelet weighs 122 grams. It is in beautiful condition with a warm & aged patina. The clasp and safety chain are in perfect working order. Fully hallmarked on the reverse with Antonio CROWN, 970 STERLING, Eagle 17 & pattern ZZ616. Antonio apprenticed under William Spratling before opening his own very successful shop in 1940.

A beautiful French silver-topped 18K yellow gold floral pin from the era of Emperor Napoleon III. The pin is designed as a spray of three flower buds, each just about to open into a different color. We have a Hector Aguilar cuff to offer today that is one of my favorite designs to wear. The silver is thick and is 1.5in. tall. The quality is further shown with a weight of 110 grams. Inside diameter is 2.25in. and can be professionally sized to fit if needed. The silver is deeply chased. On each side of the gap is a taller swirl than the width of the band giving it beauty all the way to it's ends. A collectors must have and all who desire a show stopper.

This wonderfully crafted 18Kt white gold filigree and diamond ring originally from the 1920’s brings back yesteryear’s splendor. The diamond in the center is a 0.84Ct old-mine diamond flanked by a straight sapphire baguette on either side. A handsome griffin with back-stretched wings, a lion’s head and a curling serpent’s tail grasps an old mine cut diamond in this 19th century French brooch and necklace slide. Interestingly, the creature’s tongue is licking the diamond. The eye is set with a small faceted ruby. Composed of curved openwork panels formed as highly stylized bird heads, possibly eagles, with a pre-Columbian influence. This is a lovely 3-piece suite of earrings and a brooch, circa 1940's. The earrings and brooch have 3 layers of petals / leaves. The top of each one surrounds the turquoise stone. The earrings are screwback and measure 1/4" x 1/4" (x 1/2" high, from the lowest petal to the top of the stone). Each earring is marked SILVER MEXICO. The brooch displays 6 smaller stones with the same floral design with the top petals enveloping the stones. It measures 1 5/8" x 3/8" (x 1/4") and marked STERLING.

This dainty bracelet displays lovely aquamarine, double-stranded rhinestones, meeting the central display with the Sapphire stones. It measures 7" long and is in excellent condition. All stones are prong set.

Rare sterling cuff by modernist Caroline Gleick Rosene, San Francisco, c.1951. It is very difficult to find this silversmith's work.
