A very fine Imperial Austro-Hungarian bangle bracelet simply designed as an oval of twisted gold, but then set at the top with a trefoil of three cornflower blue sapphires surrounded by rose cut diamonds. The sapphires, .72, .58, and .52 carat, have microscopic stringer, sharp-edge milky bands, and snowflake inclusions typical of sapphires mined in Kashmir in the 1880s...

An elegant Victorian snowflake pendant worked in 14K yellow gold and set with old mine cut diamonds. The overall effect is very delicate with a lot of sparkle. The center diamond is approximate .33 carat and is graded as I/J, I1; the other diamonds, each .10 carat are I/J color and SI1/2 clarity. The pendant has a folding bail and retains the original pinstem which disappears nicely when being worn as a pendant. The back is marked “14K.”

Here is a stunning pale yellow faceted citrine ring. A pierced gold setting highlights the stone. There is a tiny nick/chip on the edge of the girdle facet adjacent a prong but it is hardly noticeable (photos are enlarged). Marked 14k, the ring is a size 4.25 and the stone measures 16mm x 22mm x 10mm. Light wear.

A very nice late Victorian hinged bangle bracelet worked in a pierced scrolling design. The front features a row of three square cabochon rhodolite garnets set diagonally. The rhodolites have a lovely purplish hue that distinguishes them from their more common all reddish-brown garnet cousins. The bangle is fairly wide, but the piercing gives it an elegant lightness. The clasp is marked “14K.”

A lovely Victorian starburst pendant worked in 14K yellow gold and set with an old mine cut diamond at the center. Stars in Victorian jewelry symbolized guidance and wisdom. Most Victorian starbursts have straight rays, but the Art Nouveau-influenced curlicue design of this example makes it especially nice. The diamond at the center has good brilliance, I/J color and VS1 clarity. The pendant retains the original brooch fitting, as well, but it is very well hidden when being worn as a pendant...

A wonderful Victorian equestrian pin in the form of a horseshoe nail enhanced with a cluster of small natural pearls, sapphires, and rubies. Nails were a popular motif in Victorian jewelry, and the red, white, and blue color scheme had momentary popularity around the time of the American centennial in 1876. This piece is a pin, but can easily be worn as a pendant suspended from a chain without alteration...

An impressive 42-carat citrine centers this elegant pendant. The 14K gold setting features stylized flowers and foliage on each side of the stone. The citrine has very good even brownish-orange color resembling a good topaz. Overall, the impression is “statement piece.” The original bail is stamped “585” for 14K.

An unusually nice Victorian gold-filled locket in the aesthetic taste. The front features a marsh scene of reeds and flowers growing alongside the water’s edge, all worked in different shades of gold. The design is enclosed within an engraved border. The back of the locket is engraved with multiple designs akin to a crazy quilt.

A lovely pair of Victorian 14K gold earrings featuring a rose gold lily with green gold foliage against a yellow gold background. The flower petals and leaves are stippled for added texture. The edges are finished with ornate beading, rope-twists, and appliqués...

This 14Kt gold Retro band is alternating seven diamonds and seven rubies. The stylish openwork design decorated by cross-bars and petals all set with the alternating gems and completed with a rope like borders on each side. The approximate total weight of all rubies is 0.20Ct while the diamonds approximate total weight is 0.15Ct. The size 7 band that cannot be sized is 6.5 millimeters wide.

A yellow gold Victorian ring that has been resized (see enlarged photo three) but is hardly noticeable since it blends into the design. Unmarked but tested and guaranteed 10kt.

A pair of gold and agate baton cufflinks, the agate very dark, a brown strip visible when held towards the light. Made around 1920, French 18K hallmarks to the small links attached to the batons. Condition: fine.

This stylish mid century diamond and pearl ring is set in 14Kt white gold. The center of the ring has a 6 ¾ millimeter high luster cultured pearl. The center pearl is surrounded and flanked by 12 natural diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.15Ct. This very elegant amethyst and diamond estate cluster ring is centered by a 16 X 12 millimeter oval faceted amethyst with an approximate weight of 10 carats.
