A very fine 18K yellow gold fob charm set with coral cameos. The faces are similar to comedy and tragedy masks, with one frowning, one smiling and one somewhere in between. A striking cuff bracelet by Winifred Mason Chenet, who was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She reportedly worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler. This bracelet is made of copper with brass overlays and connections of copper rivets and wire. Measures 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1 3/8" and 1 3/4" wide. Signed with her stylized 'chenet'. Wonderfully hand made work.
