Made in one of the countries of mainland South-east Asia which were, at the time, under French colonial control, this silver repousse brooch bespeaks the level of craftsmanship local silversmiths had attained and their attention to composition and design execution. Hand-crafted during the first decades of the 20th c., I believe, the brooch is characteristic of the style and techniques that flourished in that area of the world...

A large 18K yellow gold Sputnik ring by H Stern. The dome is bezel-set with round amethysts, citrines, aquamarines, peridots, green tourmalines, pink tourmalines and garnets. The Sputnik design was created in the 1950’s to highlight the range of colored gemstones available from Stern’s Brazilian mines. It later came to be called “Sputnik” for its resemblance to the spike Soviet satellite launched in 1957...

Cast with a patinated and textured surface, in an abstract form. The pin/pendant is unmarked, but tests definitively for sterling silver. The rollover clasp is secure and original to the piece. It measures 1 5/8 inches long by 1 5/8 inches wide. Gross weight: 8.8 grams

A fabulous Necklace Set by Sigi Pineda features four separate strands of brushed sterling silver beads which can be combined with one of three different silver and obsidian clasps to create various style necklaces. The beads measure 14 1/2", 15 1/2", 16 1/2" & 17 1/2" long. The clasps measure 7/8" by 1/2", 1" by 5/8" and 2 1/2" by 1 1/2". The largest also has a pin back so it can be worn as a brooch. All clasps are hallmarked. No damage noted...

A 14K yellow gold diamonds engagement ring from the 1960s. This vintage size 6-3/4 or 6.75 ring features genuine diamonds which include a central high-set 23 point brilliant cut diamond of SI-1 clarity (very slightly chipped) and G-H colour. The other two flanking diamonds are single cut and total 4 points. This typically Colombian design pin/pendant is made of 18Kt yellow gold and centered by an approximately 4 X 2.5 millimeter emerald cut emerald. The pin measures 2 1/8” high and 1 1/8” wide at the widest part.

Modernist sterling pin with unique curved linear markings inset in the silver(see photos #2 & 3), by Rissa, c.1960's. Very reminiscent of jewelry created in the 1950s by Graziella Laffi, the Italian-born jewelry designer habitually referred to as “the Spratling of Peru”, this is a rarely surfacing creation of Carmen Beckmann’s. Thick, hand-hammered silver sheet that was then oxidized is used to form the bracelet’s main body. Upon that an impressive fish applique marries the piece’s Arts and Crafts feeling with the stylization of ancient Meso-american glyphs...

An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an abstract figural design signed with what looks like JPC, Iceland and 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. The top sits 1/2" high and measures about 7/8" across and 1 3/8" long. Has an interesting hammered texture. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A fine vintage 14K white gold bypass style diamond fashion ring, c 1940-1950. The top of each shoulder is set with three 2.4mm, round single cut diamonds that are Sl1-Sl2 in clarity and H-J in color. Centered, raised and prong set, are three modern round brilliant cut diamonds that measure 3.5mm, 3.7mm, and 3.5mm. All are the Sl clarity range and G-K in color. A vintage modernist 'Splash' bracelet in sterling silver designed by Henning Koppel in the 1940s for the Danish silversmith, Georg Jensen, design #88.

Measures 7 3/4" long and 1 3/4" at the widest. Heavy and solid, weighs 97 gr. Has a toggle closure that holds securely.

This is the smaller version, #88. Unsigned but it weighs and measures the same as the style #88 version. Better for a smaller wrist due to the thickness and the curvature of the links...

Stunning very big Art Deco / Arts & Crafts silver ring with a large rectangular smoky quartz stone in a prong setting. German, circa 1920, marked 835 for silver content. The stone, which has many naturally occurring inclusions, has been verified by a gemologist. Ring size 8. The top is just under 7/8 inch square. The stone is 17mm by 15mm. Excellent condition.
