A rare example of Jose Luis Flores's work to come upon, this distinctly modernist necklace made my day when I discovered it. I have in the past sold the matching bracelet to it but this specific form eluded me for the longest of times and I am thrilled to be offering it here. Made up of links constructed using overlay, hand-cutting and chasing as well as oxidation, it brings to mind Teran's biomorphism and the design's execution is flawless...

Formed as a stylized starburst of forged wire with a central sterling silver bead, this pin is based on the Joseph Skinger design, but made and signed by Martin Lasak. The pin has a delicate look but is sturdily made. The back sports a secure rollover clasp, as well as a sterling mark. Lasak, of Bar Harbor, Maine, was trained by and worked for Joe Skinger during the 1960s in Skinger's Vermont studio, according to Joe's daughter Carol...

These lovely sterling vermeil, enamel earrings have a unique and beautiful design. They are in the shape of a 4-leaf clover with wonderful white guilloche enamel. Each enamel clover is decorated with a flowing, applied openwork, wiretwist design, following the shape of the clover. A classic pair of 18K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks, the hexagonal faces fitted with round mother-of-pearl plaques centering gold lozenges set with round blue sapphires. The sapphires, though small, have attractive color that accents the iridescence of the surrounding mother-of-pearl. The faces are joined by solid bar connectors. Tested and guaranteed 18K gold.

An elegant 14K gold, Mississippi River pearl and blue sapphire floral pendant in the Art Nouveau taste suspended from a split chain. The flower petals are formed from pearls and center a blue sapphire of fine, intense color. The design is enclosed in a gold frame that resembles the shape of a pretzel! A nicely-detailed late Victorian pin depicting a lion’s head. The open mouth grasps a 10-point old European-cut diamond, while each eye is set with a small cabochon ruby. The head is surrounded by flowing fur that hints at Art Nouveau styling. Circa 1910, old mine cut diamond ring. Set in 14k rose gold and platinum, this 1.68 ct diamond has an EGL certificate stating it is N color and SI1 clarity. For such an old stone, it is beautifully set and nicely sparkly. It is almost an oval shape, but looks larger than its weight. The ring has 10 additional old mine cuts that total an additional .25 ct. The ring is a size 6 and the overall weight is 3.6 grams. It is in excellent condition.

A vintage modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Danish silversmith, Palle Bisgaard in a tiered curved shape. His torque necklace, part of this same line is included in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is the widest version of this cuff, with an extra tier at the bottom edge.

Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1" and 3/4" at the widest. There does not appear to be much give so it is better for an average to slender wrist.

Two(2) pendant necklaces made of brass and silver by the famous NYC modernist Ed Wiener. One of the necklaces is signed:"ED. WIENER" and they are in excellent condition. Each concave disk has a free form applied silver wire and bead design. One pendant measures 2 1/2" and the other, almost 2". They are each hanging on sterling chains, 30" and 19".
