This rare rosary has lovely, colorless, faceted, glass "beads." The cross / crucifix is made of butterscotch bakelite and measures 2" x 1 1/8" x 1/4". It has 7 spots for The Seven Sorrows. There are 4 stanhopes remaining: the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th.

This Fred Davis ring was produced in the 1930's to early 1940's. It features a large hand-cut and polished amethyst cabochon, and is a generous size 7. The face of the ring is 13/16", with a depth of 3/8". The stone itself is gorgeous, with natural inclusions and quartz marbling. Weight is 9.8grams. Signed and hallmarked with the conjoined FD and Made in Mexico Silver. In excellent vintage condition.

Wonderful Staret piece! Square rhinestones of various sizes set in silver color metal, clear and sparkling, every single one. Heavy and chunky. Stamped Staret on the back. 3 3/4" wide, 1 7/8" high. Great reminder of the 1940's.

A vintage 18K yellow gold heart-shaped pendant/charm, the border set with alternating cushion cut Burmese rubies and old mine cut diamonds. Like most Retro pieces, the large size has great presence. The rubies have fine, bright red color and VS clarity, and display all the characteristics of Burmese rubies. There are no indications of heat or other treatment. The diamonds are of similarly fine quality, graded as I color, SI clarity. The bail is marked “750” for 18K gold...

This is an early piece by Matilde Poulat, with hallmarks dating 1930's - 40's. Collector quality, with turquoise cabochons and branch coral. Absolutely gorgeous, measures 7" long without the tongue portion of the clasp, 1 1/2" wide. Weight is 67.3 grams. Signed and hallmarked as shown. Stones are all original. Exceedingly difficult to find (I will not say "almost impossible" because I am an optimist at heart!) these Mexican Deco silver repousse hinged bracelets with rows of stone cabochons come in all widths and material combinations. In my experience, the ones with turquoise tend to be the most sought after but amethyst is also popular and I have had examples with black onyx and even colored glass before...

Circa 1930's-40's, here is an early obsidian moth pin from Matilde Poulat.

This is a superb piece, with hand-wrought repoussé silverwork and seven dangles. Centered with a round obsidian cabochon, the stone is truly beautiful, with a glowing gold sheen throughout.

Impressive & rare this hand forged sterling silver belt buckle inlaid with chrysocolla quartz was designed & signed by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67).
