The distinctive style of roaring twenties is represented in this original period 18Kt openwork white gold and diamond dome ring. The ring is centered by an approximately 0.65Ct tube set old-mine diamond that has J color and SI1 clarity. The ring is further decorated by eight single-cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.80Ct. The ring is a size 7 and can easily be sized.

A heavy classic belcher chain link necklace in 12K yellow gold. The chain is heavy and solid enough to suspend any of the heavier Victorian lockets or large pendants. It also looks stylish worn simply as a chain. The lobster claw clasp is a replacement and is 14K. The chain itself tests 12K.

A classic pair of Hermes 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the "Etrier" design. Each hinged end is in the form of a stirrup. The connectors are signed "Hermes", have serial numbers and are fully marked with appropriate French 18K gold marks. Etrier cufflinks in gold are no longer available at Hermes. The same design in sterling silver currently retails for $970. A similar design in gold, but with no moveable parts currently retails for $4750.

Felipe Martinez opened his shop, "Piedra Y Plata" in 1950. A former sculptor who had worked with Hubert Harmon in the 1940's, Martinez was known for his work with beautiful stones which melded seamlessly into his silver designs. A nicely designed Edwardian silver Baisse Taille enamel octagonal pin c1910-15. This 1" pin has a deep purple border and a central columnar section with lovely opalescent enamel. In the center is a seed pearl, and this pin has the original c-clasp and the 935 sterling mark (probably France or Austria). This item is in very good original condition with no scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss some enamel in three segments...

An unusually large 18K yellow gold, diamond and ruby love pendant (“medaille d’amour”) with a rebus spelling out Plus qu’hier, moins que demain,” (“More than yesterday, less than tomorrow.”) a line from the love poem written by Rosemonde Gérard to her husband Edmond Rostand (author of “Cyrano”) in 1889. The word “plus” is symbolized by a plus sign set with a rose cut diamond and the word “moins” by a minus sign set with rectangular cut synthetic rubies...

Symbols of fertility, rebirth, transformation and even immortality snakes and serpents have been favorite jewelry motifs through the centuries and across civilizations. In this Mexican Deco demi signed by the Los Castillo they are formed by silver, copper and brass, their slick bodies coiled around shimmering golden sheen obsidian. This is one of the best examples of the technique I have seen by the Los Castillo - probably because I love snake jewelry...

Common to South Arabia and Yemen, the mesh "labbeh" or "Kirdam" were worn wrapped around the neck or attached to the sides of the headgear hanging down as a frame to women’s chin. This particular libbeh is from the late 1800’s–early 1900. This very finely made tribal labbeh has elaborate lengths of filigree and numerous dangling beads...

Spectacular design in this wide, bold silver overlay bracelet by Hopi Manuel Hoyungowa ( 1953-2011) who was an active silversmith since the 1970's having learned from Preston Monongye. The bracelet measures 5 1/2" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening. It is 1 7/8" wide and weighs a solid 84 grams. It in fine original condition and hallmarked as shown. An amazing, precise pattern perfectly executed.

A delicate early Art Deco gold chain worked in 14K white gold filigree. Each of the baton-shaped links is centered with a short length of ropetwist to create the filigree appearance. Marked “14K.”

Sumptuous very long early vintage salmon angel skin coral necklace with round beads, all between 3mm and 4mm. Circa 1920. Recently professionally restrung on very fine soft flex wire with a new clasp. The spring ring of the clasp is 14K, the rest of the clasp and end pieces are gold filled.
