Ethereal long wired glass beaded sautoir with pale blue beads, glass based faux pearls, and large molded opaline glass beads, circa 1950. Probably French. 54 inches wearable length. A classic pair of 18K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks, the hexagonal faces fitted with round mother-of-pearl plaques centering gold lozenges set with round blue sapphires. The sapphires, though small, have attractive color that accents the iridescence of the surrounding mother-of-pearl. The faces are joined by solid bar connectors. Tested and guaranteed 18K gold.

Fabulous signed French necklace in dark silvertone metal with brilliant pink, green, lemon, and colorless glass stones. Circa 1960, and possibly for Dior by Countess Cissy Zoltowska (Cis) or by Francis Winter. Slide clasp. It appears that there originally was a signature tag on the back of the clasp (pictured). I am also listing separately the matching earrings, which are marked very faintly MADE IN FRANCE and with another mark on each earring. The additional mark is very faint...

Formed as square panels with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation. The design is called "Pine Needle." The earrings have the original screw backs, which are in good working order. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. Each earring measures 3/4 inch square. Weight: 6.6 grams

A fascinating pair of Edwardian 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces set with square rock crystals. The crystals have concave circles in the center and the edges are finished with an oxidized surface that gives the impression of hematite. The clear circles reveal quirky, almost cartoon-like portraits of dogs that have very rigid demeanors like those often seen in 19th century portraits of people. These are not to be confused with reverse-carved Essex crystals...

Artfully carved high-relief shell cameo with 14k bezel, showing the profile of a woman, c.1900. It measures 2 1/8" long by 1 5/8" wide and is signed 14k. The coiled gold bezel enhances the carving. Description: Elegant 18K gold impression of Greek seal, used in jewelry for either ring or necklace, depicting mythological figures in form a chariot driver being tossed out and the horses panicking. Dimensions: 27mm in length and 20mm width and it weights 4.93 grams in great condition.

A vintage sterling silver hammered money clip made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge.

Measures about 2 3/8" long and 1" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. It currently has a 'G' monogram, but could probably be buffed out.

Magnificent KJL! It is gold plated metal, it is chunky, and it is very dramatic. This elegant necklace has the look of ancient times and was, perhaps, designed by Kenneth Lane in honor of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Egyptian show in the 1970's. It fits like a choker and has the effect of a large bib. 14 1/2" inside length, front link is 3 3/4" top to bottom. It is thick and chunky.

This cool pendant / medallion has a great modernist design. It is a concave and convex disk with a radius of 2 inches. It hangs 13" from a link chain. The back is marked PEWTER Jorgen Jensen (in his script hallmark) HANDMADE DENMARK 158. Like all Jorgen Jensen pieces it displays the modernist style. It is in excellent condition.

A nice 2-1/2" x 2-1/4" sterling silver layered brooch with safety catch in the form of a pair of young deer c1930s-40s. Marked simply STERLING, one deer is silver and the other has a rose gold wash over the silver. It weighs 14.2 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use...

Wide antique hinged bangle in genuine tortoise shell, with gold mountings and a gold slide clasp. Late 19th century. Not marked but the metal tests positive for 14KT gold with jeweler's acid.

1 1/4 inches wide by 1/4 inch thick and 6 inches inside circumference. Very good condition. Clasp is tight. There are two very small outside chips at the hinge and a scratch inside one side. These do not show when the piece is worn. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Signed by my favorite Mexican modernist, this set of Salvador Teran earrings in the so-called "crouching man" design combines sterling, strategically placed oxidation and richly speckled azur-malachite stones.
