Very early Kenneth Jay Lane hinged cuff with the earliest K.J.L. mark. Covered with pave white rhinestones and green, red and ruby cabochons, as well as emerald color square cut accents. A hair under 1" (2.3 cm) wide, the interior diameter is 2 3/8" (6.4 cm) x 2 1/8" (5.3 cm). The snap closure is tight and the cuff is in original vintage condition. This is the Moghul style at its best.

Teased out of jasper and agate and oftentimes even dyed calcite, the hearts are unfailingly curvaceous as if pulsing with life, their sculpturality shamelessly inviting the touch. An exceptionally fine Victorian 18K yellow gold and turquoise locket in the Etruscan Revival taste. The outside of the sphere is encrusted with ornate wirework decoration against a stippled background. Small Persian turquoise cabochons, some set in star-shaped mountings, add a touch of color. The clasp is cleverly hidden to be nearly invisible when the ball is closed. Indistinctly marked; tested and guaranteed 18K.
