So-called "chain mail" jewelry is not uncommon in the world of vintage Mexican silver. One can find them in all forms, with or without stones, and in all widths, signed by known maestros and by less-celebrated makers as well. There is something very slick about this design, its interwoven "mesh" inhabiting quite comfortably both the Art Deco and early modernist worlds. The necklace at hand is an example of the narrower versions but very well made and with good weight to it...
A superb vintage sterling and blue gem turquoise suite consisting of a matching bracelet, ring and brooch by master Navajo silversmith Fred Peshlakai. The bracelet measures 5 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening. It is 1 5/8"wide at center and tapers to 3/4" at the terminals. The amazing Blue Gem stone itself is 1 1/2" long and 1 5/8" wide. Precise elaborate stamping adorn the bracelet...
A 14k twin antique cut diamonds ring pre 1920. This size 7 ring measures 5/16" along the diamonds which are high mounted and claw-set. The antique cut diamonds are approximately 8 points each by gauge and one diamond is white and the other a cinnamon colour. This ring weighs 1.5 grams and it is stamped 14K with an AWA maker's mark. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...
It is always exciting when I stumble upon a Mexican chain necklace made of polished, tumbled hard-stones caged in sterling silver. When that example happens to be from the pre-1948 period, I am elated! Made up of various agates and black onyx, maybe even a jasper here and there, the necklace at hand is perfect for the winter, its colors warm and cozy yet somewhat subdued , mirroring the dormant nature all around...
60 Inches! Knotted rope black "French Jet" facet glass beads marked "Made in Austria" on japanned clasp.
What Downton Abbey party outfit would be complete without this?!
137 shiny faceted individually knotted 8mm beads that catch the light beautifully while you dance the night away! 3.1 oz or 88 Grams.
Very nice decades old preowned vintage condition. This vintage strand has tiny dulled areas from being danced in all night, however magnification is needed to see them...
One of the nicest Retro buckle bracelets we’ve seen, this 18K gold and platinum example comprises a strap of honeycomb-shaped links set off with a large buckle pave-set with rose cut and single cut diamonds in platinum. The buckle’s tongue, frame and loop are set with calibre cut synthetic rubies. This bracelet has a particularly sculptural appearance...
Composed of geometrical open panels, this sterling silver bracelet is studded with tiny pieces of marcasite. It features a secure tongue and groove clasp and a sterling safety chain. There are seven marcasites missing, but it’s hard to tell without magnification because they are so small. The back of the clasp is marked sterling; there is also a sterling mark on the back of one panel along with a partial, unidentified maker’s mark...
A classic pair of French 18K yellow gold cufflinks in a variation of the "mors de filet" or "snaffle" design originally created for Hermès by Gaetan de Percin. Each of the flip-up ends is pierced in a diamond-cut design. De Percin's design was very popular and served as the basis for a number of closely related designs...
A nicely carved late Victorian 1-1/2 x 1-3/8" ivory pendant in the form of a rose. This unsigned pendant is in very good original condition with no cracks, damage or repairs other than the loss of the tips of two petals. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S...
This sterling, Mexican fish pendant married metal is copper (to silver). It has an azur-malachite eye and is very well crafted. It measures 2 1/4" x 5/8". The onyx center is encased in sterling (top and bottom). The back is hallmarked MEXICO, then TAXCO MEXICO 925 with the silversmith's initials, AAB in the middle. The assay mark is # 1. It is in great condition.
This is a fine pair of Victorian oval shape, 10K gold double-sided cufflinks, having an engraved stylized concentric circle design with braided border, unmarked but test 10K. Measurements: 5/8 in wide; Condition is very good; one side has thin imperfection, hard to detect because of the way light reflects the design but priced accordingly.
Lovely necklace signed "HK HANDMADE STERLING DENMARK" made of sterling and enamel. Although extremely rare to see his signature on non George Jensen pieces, it is probably made by Henning Koppel(1918-1982). In "Silver Jewelry" by Fred Rezazadeh, on page 100, it states that "Koppel's jewelry exhibits modern and abstract designs derived form nature, sometimes enhanced with enamelwork." It also shows that "HK" is Koppel's signature, aside from his work with Jensen...

One rarely sees this bracelet, and it is a killer gorgeous showpiece. Signed and hallmarked "Salvador Sterling Mexico", with the design # 156 and eagle assay 36.

An intriguing pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces set with triangular cabochons of labradorite. In bright lighting conditions, the stones exhibit the unusual play of bluish-greenish color desired in labradorite...
An amusing late Victorian brooch fashioned as two crossed golf clubs. The shafts are worked in 18K yellow gold, while the heads are made in platinum. A small pearl, representing a golf ball rests against each club. Sporting jewelry is quite desirable, and golf-related pieces are particularly rare. The back retains the original pinstem and c-clasp. Stamped with French hallmarks.

Fine sterling and black enamel cuff links. They measure just under 1" x just under 1" x 1/8". The sterling swirls are a nice accent. The back of each is marked BETO TAXCO and ? in a circle with 925 in the middle. They also have the eagle mark with 3. They have good heft. A tiny piece of the sterling swirl is "pinched."
