In the 1960s and 1970s, Ciner specialized in costume jewelry inspired by the enameled gold and jeweled figural animal designs of the fine jewelry maker David Webb (these days Roberto Cavalli is the contemporary master of the costume version of this look). This piece is circa 1975. It is marked CINER, but so faintly on the tongue of the clasp that I was unable to get a clear photo. It did come from an estate with other signed Ciner pieces...

Beautiful vintage clip back earrings in the form of lions, in 14KT yellow gold, with emeralds as eyes I am also listing the matching emerald, gold, and sterling silver cuff bracelet from the same estate.
