Gorgeous period art nouveau sheath with nude woman playing the harp sitting in the ocean waves with birds flying above by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1905. The sheath probably held and can hold a comb, nail file, etc. and measures 3 7/8" long by 13/16" wide and the opening is 1/8" thick(so item should be a bit thinner) by 3/4" long. A lovely Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold pendant enhanced with translucent enamels in varying shades of green and a touch of rose. The whiplash curve outlines are studded with seed pearls and the whole suspends a baroque freshwater pearl. The pendant is attached to a fine Etruscan Revival 12K gold chain, the box clasp enhanced with ropetwist and beaded decoration. Both parts tested and guaranteed gold as described.

A 10k yellow gold signet ring with stylized letters 1900-1910. This size 4 gentleman's signet pinky ring measures 1/2" x 7/16" across the top and it has an applied letters monogram which is possibly JJS - it is done in such a way as to vaguely resemble a dollar sign. It is stamped with a maker's mark and 10K, and it weighs 3.0 grams. This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but the band will need building up as it is a little thin...

Very delicate 10K yellow gold pin set with a collet-set square-cut synthetic ruby. The linear design and the geometric shape of the stone show the beginnings of Art Deco influence. Similarly, the use of a synthetic stone is common in jewelry of the period. Even makers such as Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpel used synthetics. Marked "10K".

Origin: America, circa 1935. Condition: excellent, except for a chip on one corner of the stone; all original. Size: 3/8" x 1-1/16".

Twin fish necklace in amethyst and brass signed MAYA MEXICO after a design first introduced by Hubert Harmon (c.1940-50). This necklace will comfortably fit up to a 15 inch neck. The two fish and amethyst drop measure 5 1/2 inches across. Both fish have an amethyst eye and a faceted amethyst stone extending from their tail. A single amethyst cab hangs between the 2 fish. Each brass chain measures 5 1/2 inches.

Set with nine square, faceted faux garnets mounted in closed-back settings. The pin features an openwork silver frame nicely detailed with molded flowers and beads. The silver retains a light layer of gilding; the glass pieces are in lovely condition with points substantially intact. On the reverse are some indentations that may be obscured marks and signs of a removed watch hook. The C-clasp is quite sturdy and secure. The brooch measures 1 ½ inches across. The dating is conservative.
