Set of three octagon shaped etchings by artist Robert Wallace, views of Europe circa 1940s including Switzerland, and England measuring each 6 inches diameter in octagon frames

A lithograph print of a typical northern New Mexican adobe house of the Santa Fe and Taos region, signed in the plate at lower center with what appears as "J Hill" and dated nearby 48. The black and white image measures 6 1/4" by 9 1/4" inside the mat, 15" by 17 1/2" in simple black wood strip frame. Not examined out of frame but appears very clean and fresh. I have not been able to locate a listed artist by this name that would correspond to this work.

August-Louis Lepere 1849-1918 French This is an original color woodblock print by French artist Auguste Lepere (1849-1918) The title of this work is: Bucolique Moderne, Modern Arcadia. It was created and printed in 1882. Printed on a medium weight wove type paper. This printing is the first state of V. The image measures 10X15 inches. Pencil signed and dated in the lower right border.

A very interesting etching of what appears to be Paris' Montmartre section, (the windmill a famous feature, painted by many artists), signed in pencil in the lower right margin "B. Vilard". Surprisingly I do not see a listing for an artist by this name---could possibly be a pen name.. The work measures 8 1/2" by 11" inside the mat and 13 3/4" by 16 1/4" framed. It is very clean and fresh, despite likely dating to the first half of the 20th century. Note the subtle blue/brown colors.

A contemporary screenprint, the imagery forming the letters for "LOVE", pencil signed at lower right and numbered 98/100 examples at lower left, by noted British illustrator and commercial artist Helen Lang. The matted print is currently housed in a white laminated wood frame, measuring 24" by 20" in that frame. GLASS IS CRACKED AT LOWER RIGHT so print will be shipped without glass...

Edgar Degas Open Edgar Degas configuration options 1834-1917 French This is an original etching by French impressionist Edgar Degas. The title is, "AutoPortrait", Self Portrait. It was created in 1857, this is the Forth state of 4, after the cancellation marks. Delteil 1. The image measures 9X5 3/8 inches. printed on a cream wove type paper. Unsigned as issued.

**ONE OF SEVERAL WORKS BY BURR IN MY SHOP**, this is an etching on paper print, 8 1/2" by 10 1/4" inside the mat (15 1/4" by 17" as framed), signed in pencil at lower left by noted western American artist GEORGE ELBERT BURR (1859-1939). At lower right is written the title of the work, "A Mirage--Ariz". Burr's etchings and watercolors of the Great Southwest, especially Arizona and Colorado, are eagerly sought after by collectors...

Percival Gaskell, Etching, "In the Garden," This very fine impression with its deep rich tones measures 11 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches, c. 1930. Presented on cream wove paper, this original drypoint has wide margins with a sheet size of 15 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches and is pencil signed on the lower border. Born in England and educated in Cambridge, Gaskell studied art in London and Italy before studying under Sir Frank Short at the Royal College of Art.

Sir Francis Seymour Haden, British, 1818-1910, etching and drypoint on copper, "Dusty Millers", image size: 5 1/2 x 8 5/16 inches, dated 1877, state V/V, cat. Schneiderman-172, pencil signed lower right. One of Haden's intrestes apart from being a surgeon and printmaker was firshing...

Max Thorek (1880-1960) was considered one of the outstanding surgeons of all time, but he was also noted as a very talented photographer, his efforts peaking in the 1930's and 1940's when he contributed mightily to the pictorialist movement. This original photograph itself measures 9 5/8" by 12 1/2" (other measurements 12 3/4" by 14 3/4" inside the outer, modern mat, and 17 3/4" by 21 3/4" as framed)...
